A SAD FAREWELL TO KIRSTEN'S VIEWER

The Kirsten's viewer, which has led nothing short of a revolution in how many SL adult movie makers shoot their films, is sadly not going to continue. Leading the way in shadow, depth, and focus effects, Kirsten's has provided some breath taking moments in Second Life porn and given our times in world a whole new look.

At least it had advanced to a superb viewer we can still enjoy for now, with ongoing innovations such as 3D and the numerous other environmental effects. So, until changes in LL viewer code slowly make it unusable. Our advice is enjoy it while you can.

I'll copy a piece from the official site below....

"You may have noticed that the client has not been updated in some time. Sadly Real Life events have taken an unfortunate turn which basically puts an end to any more development.
The Plans for S22 have been shelved and the project has been marked as discontinued.
Installers have been removed as they are now very outdated, the sourcecode will of course remain. The website and forums will stay up for as long is required. Also inworld groups will stay active. It is of course entirely your choice as to how long you continue to use the client, however I do stress that it will fall behind with features and it may be wise to seek alternatives in the near future."

  2. @Eddi, I am not sure, but Phoenix should be stopped when Oct. comes around from what was gathered, we will see.......

As for Kirstens viewer... Sad, it was nice, defiantly was an enhanced viewer tho Phoenix use to be when it was "Emerald" before the team split.
Still remember Emerald? The first to do Breast physics has everyone going OMG, and the show look at which didn't work for viewer 1 at the time.

Anyway's when Kirstens came out it was a much much improvement, and better looking... I will miss Kirstens viewer.
