However, i find it hard to create the extra time needed to cover the Porn Video and Movies side of the scene and keep it well represented here. Firstly i appealed directly to movie producers for content, images, synopsis etc, but this still left a gap. So last week i asked Pornstars Members interested in reviewing and following movies to get in touch, and they did!
We now have three on the team. Erin, Shannon, and Thorgal! They will be sending me reviews, screen shots, and images. I will not interfere with their writing, or edit it. Over the years i have found it hard to find people to help out on this Blog and commit. So i will not be stifling people and censoring and editing their words, or telling them what they can and cannot write.
So this brings me to say, the views of the reviewers are not always going to be mine. Or the views of this blogs founder. These are members who offered their time and efforts to help support this blog and make it even more diverse, and a great snapshot of the Second Life Porn scene.
I recently commented on a movie at SL Porn Tube, stating my views on things. So please anybody with anything to say about any reviews, please seek out the author not me.

In response to "Spielburg" and drama on SL Porn Tube.....
In my opinion, Second Life Porn was worse off the day people started saying, and posting anything negative at all in comments. When i began as a director, 3 years ago, it was a shock and a rarity to see a one star rating, a negative comment was unheard of. People respected each other. Even if they never always agreed with styles or quality, or how things were done. The genie is out the bottle now, and people will rightly want to defend themselves, against negative, spiteful, petty comments and attitudes published and attached to their movie. The whole thing is going to snowball, it's natural.
I take quite a while to produce a movie I'm proud of, yet that still falls short of the months and years it would take to produce a quality project to perfection. A lot of people in porn could produce something really amazing if they spent 2 years or so on it. Who wants to do that though? Just to avoid critique? Even then petty people could find something wrong and needlessly offend. I respect anybody who produces, and i give everybody enough credit and intelligence to know how to google tutorials or ask advice or learn at their own pace, or not bother learning at all and just have fun doing this, their way.
Most prefer to have their career viewed as a work in progress, and an evolution there for all to see. We don't need nit pickers on an amateur scene. You cannot emulate a RL "Critic" on this scene as peoples motives are never black and white for producing a video here. It could be sheer fun, recording an event, or just a test video, or a stepping stone to bigger things and a project which is part of their learning process. Anybody setting themselves up as a judge on quality, is just going to end up looking arrogant. As there has never been anybody emerge on this scene who knows it all, and is "perfect" and in a position to set themselves up as such.
Embrace the diversity, let people do what they want. It's their SL, their fantasies, give people a break and don't spoil anybodies fun. Every movie makes our scene better, something appeals to somebody somewhere, and the collective body of work on this site entertains even more people. Our own views and tastes are not the only ones that matter. To think otherwise is very wrong.
