The entry phase of The Sexiest® Awards is now under way. This year see's the biggest change since the event began, Second Life's Porn's 'Oscars' is now a Movie and Photography awards. With Modelling and Photography added to reflect the Second Life Porn scene as it is today. Stars from every part of our scene can shine in this event. Below is all the info you need to know, and we'll post more news as we get it from the organizers and the awards judges. Up to Nomination announcements, and show details. If you are a movie director, actor, actress, male or female model, photographer, or a T-Girl porn superstar, this is your chance to walk down the red carpet and have a great time at the 4th Annual Sexiest® Awards.
Look out for Entry forms attached to Pornstars Blog notices, and see vendors at Pornstars party events. You'll also find a permanent vendor HERE In World.

The Best of Second Life Adult Film and Photography.
Second Life Porn's Academy Awards!
FOR MOVIES RELEASED IN 2013 ONLY. AND UPLOADED TO SL PORN TUBE.
ENTRY FORMS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT JANUARY IN THE PORNSTARS GROUP.
WINNERS
Every winner will receive an Award Statue, and a SEXIEST® Tag in Pornstars Group in Second Life.
NOMINEES
Will receive a commemorative statue, and along with all the VIP guests to the Awards show, a gift bag of exclusive items.
CATEGORIES
There will be 9 categories.
1) THE SEXIEST® FILM
The award for the Best Film of the Year. On the surface some may think whoever wins best director will win this award. This is not the case, often in the RL Oscars the two winners are not the same. many criteria will be weighed up when choosing best film, directing among them, it will be the movie which pulls elements from all categories together, and on balance stands out in the judges eyes as the best all round film.
2) THE SEXIEST® DIRECTOR
The award for the Best Director of the Year. Directing a movie is not just pointing at the action and shooting. The criteria for this award will take in everything from locations, sets, camera angles, lighting selections, shadows ( if used or needed. ), how they presented the plot, story, or concept, and choices of animations, and anything which the "Director" should control in world.
This award also covers the Best Editing of Picture, Or added Visual Effects, Music, and Sound in a Movie This Year. The criteria for this award will be traditional editing done well, as well as all other manner of added "Post Production" work. Special effects, innovative transitions, or compositions of scenes after filming has ended. Including music and sound, and all general "polishing" of the movie.
3) THE SEXIEST® ACTRESS
The award for the Best Actress of the Year. This is one of the three "Non Producing" categories. Actresses cast in any movie can enter themselves in this one. Pick whichever movie shows you at your SEXIEST®! Quite simply, whichever movie in 2013 showed you at your hottest.
4) THE SEXIEST® ACTOR
The award for the Best Actor of the Year. This is one of the three "Non Producing" categories. Actors cast in any movie can enter themselves in this one. Pick whichever movie shows you at your SEXIEST®! Quite simply, whichever movie in 2013 showed you at your hottest.
5) THE SEXIEST® STORY
The award for the Best Storyline in a movie this Year. Anybody who provided a Producer/Director with a script and story for a movie is eligible for this. As well of course are the Director's/Producers who developed stories themselves.
6) THE SEXIEST® PHOTO
For Photographers only. The best judged SEXIEST® photograph.
7) THE SEXIEST® FEMALE MODEL
The best Female model in a photo. Please state the Photographer who took your picture in the entry form. You are free to enter yourself as a model in others work.
8) THE SEXIEST® MALE MODEL
The best Male model in a photo. Please state the Photographer who took your picture in the entry form. You are free to enter yourself as a model in others work.
9) THE SEXIEST® NEWCOMER
The award for the Best New Performer of the Year. This category is open to Actresses, Actors in movies, and male or Female models in photography projects. Limited to those who started their SL Adult Career in 2013. This is one of the "Non Producing" categories. Actors/Actresses or Models cast in any movie or projects can enter themselves in this one. Pick whichever movie or picture shows you at your SEXIEST®!
Models : Please state the Photographer who took your picture in the entry form. You are free to enter yourself as a model in others work.
ENTRIES BEGIN ON JANUARY 10th 2014. ENTRY FORMS WILL BE RELEASED IN THE PORNSTARS GROUP VIA NOTICE ON THAT DAY, AND THROUGHOUT THE ENTRY PERIOD. ALSO IN VENDORS AT PORNSTARS PARTY EVENTS.
JUDGING
Each category will be judged by 2 to 3 judges who have NO ENTRIES in that category and in most cases, little or no involvement in ongoing Second Life Porn projects.
There will be approximately 6-9 judges overall.
Judging will be over seen by a head judge. It’s their task to pick and choose the judges that are as knowledgeable and unbiased as possible. The head judges only vote in the event of a split, or tied vote from the Sexiest Judging panel.
ELIGIBILITY
To enter into a category:
1. Your movie must have been shown on SL Porn Tube in 2013. And your picture added to The Sexiest Flickr group in 2013, or a 2013 picture added to that group with your entry form.
Photo Entries. Your images must have been produced/uploaded in 2013. They must also be added to The Sexiest® Flickr Group.
2. It must still be on that site as a PUBLIC VIDEO with a working Embed Code
3. You must pay 250L for EVERY entry you choose to enter when you turn in your entry note card.
4. Every entrant must be in THE PORNSTARS group.
5. One entry per person per category. ( You can enter multiple, or all categories you are eligible for. )
6. All entries must be received by January 31st 2013 at 11:59 pm SLT
NOT FOR PROFIT
This will be a not for profit show.
All entry money will go to paying for the show and those putting on the show.
Any profits will go to SL Porn Tube to thank them for hosting our movies all year, and to keep the sites running as smoothly as possible.
A Percentage of any profits will also go to a charity organisation. Full details to be disclosed on the Pornstars Blog.
COST
The entry is 250L per category.
You must pay the avatar - 250L Resident - for EVERY entry you choose to enter.
You must pay when you submit your ENTRY. No late payments.
NOMINEES
The 5 final nominees in each category will be announced through to February as and when head judges report in with final scores.
Each day we will announce the 5 nominees from the 1 of the 9 categories.
THE SHOW
THE SEXIEST® AWARDS show will be announced on The Pornstars Blog, and via notices in our in world group.
Details of the Venue will be released on The Pornstars Blog.
Dress will be FORMAL & SEXY. ( With details to follow on low lag low script outfits. )
There will also be an AFTER PARTY!!! Where the doors to the event will be open to all Pornstars members.

A message From Emmanuelle.
In the interest of fairness, organizers, or group owners WILL NOT be entering any categories ourselves.
However, I don’t think it’s fair for us to stop a co-star or cast member from our productions entering.
So I hope you will believe that any movie we were involved in will be treated fairly. And, more importantly, that any of your movies will be treated fairly too.
FINALLY
We will try to be as fair as we can be.
We’ll also try to be as professional as possible. But if we do get something wrong, please remember that we’re all people with real lives doing our best.
Also, no sniping and snarking about the results. No pouting. Pouting isn’t sexy and even Santa doesn’t like it :)
Potentially 40 people will walk away with a award statue as Nominee's, and a huge sense of achievement. The winners i hope will be viewed by all as very worthy, and representing a snapshot of the very best on our Second Life Porn scene in 2013.
