SL Connoisseur
It's always with pleasure that I greet a new issue of a magazine, and the folks at SL Connoisseur are specialized in bringing sexy content in many forms. One of those forms, almost unique to SL in this particular guise, is rather interactive, and it is one of their defining traits, providing the opening and closing of the issue. A party for the magazine is a great way to involve more people in attendance and broaden the readership throwing a nice event, but also, from my point of view, it's a great way to celebrate the talent involved. I do my best to point out part of their efforts, I often plaud certain photosets that are right on the mark, but there are aspects of the magazine job that are a bit obscure to most. Sometimes I think you need to have experience running a gig like this to even imagine the kind of pressure and work that goes into the final product. It is especially sweet then to see that the cover story capping 2019 is Kristina Deschanel shot by Kara Hawk.
If this is how the decorations look like, I think we'd keep the tree all year long!
I would like to say "enough said!" but of course, a couple words on that! Kristina is the Executive Technical Editor, which means, the person in charge with putting together the pieces of the puzzle - pictures, text, make it all work together in a coherent layout. All for a magazine which has a foliage just shy of a couple hundred pages and a stringent monthly deadline - which means that when you are done with an issue, you already have to think of the new one. That detail is not of secondary importance. The pressure of dealing with that, in SL, is what gets most people.
This kind of pressure must be especially excruciating also for artists, and to me that makes the work of her photographer Kara Hawk amazing. Kara's shoot this month is one of the many gems she brought to SL Connoisseur this year in a superb performance.
The holiday spirit, it is all about sharing the love!
So, what to expect in this Xmas issue? First, the bread and butter of the publication, which is, promotion of several adult brands in the style of Edvard Taurion - you will find several neat ideas for your shopping, I tell you! From several creators who are familiar names in our community. Because after all, Christmas is all about giving...and you will find plenty creative ways to give from many positions! And you will be forgiven if it does not involve proper gift-wrapping. Although, tying things up can't be ruled out...
This sort of outfit does make it easier to slip into the chimney...
But back to the girls in the mag and their efforts, in the past month another one has been working really hard and often on double duty and more: I am talking about Jenny (genesis1984), who brought a lot of the Christmas spirit to the issue. Firstly, in the role of photographer she has been rocking for months now. Julia (julialezslut Cyberstar) is the lucky Pet of the Month, and the edgy look of the model mixes beautifully with the classic Santa baby look. Great pick. And then, Jenny gives us a more intimate take on the special holiday through her sim report. She'll also be our dj for the event!

What is important is also your self promotion though, so once more I tell you : come to the SL Connoisseur party! Fun and debauchery aside, it'll all be captured on tape (so to speak) by the photo fairy, miss Kristina Deschanel herself. One lucky gal every month gets to parade as the Party Star for semi-candid shots, so...wouldn't you like to open 2020 being a star in an adult mag?
