And Tweet #1 came courtesy of a totally cool retro blog banner that last adorned this site way back in 2011! ( Seen above. ) Combining the legacy of Pornstars, with a bright future on an exciting global platform. Second Life Porn Icon, and Pornstars founder, and legend! Emmanuelle Jameson features on the banner. In the days before mesh everything! You can start to see and appreciate just why she was a true porn megastar and still is to this today!
My Future Porn Community Projects/Activities.
We've been promoting my weekly galleries seen here on the blog on Twitter via my own account. The Sexiest® Of The Week. And The Sexiest® Tweets Of The Week. But in future, I'll publish those Promo's on the new The Sexiest® Pornstars account, and Re-Tweet on my own Twitter. So the established audience there still gets to see it. Hopefully, all my followers and more will soon follow The Sexiest® Pornstars too.
Any new initiatives I launch personally, will be right here on this Blog or its accompanying Twitter account. I can do this, because Ali has the Pornstars Flickr Verse well and truly covered. And doing a magnificent job showcasing the wealth of amazing talent, and truly stunning content there with multiple weekly galleries here.
Any projects i'll be running within our Porn Community will continue to happen on a platform without a compulsory pay wall ie Flickr Pro. For hosting NSFW/Porn Imagery or Video. Ensuring every member has the opportunity to join in. Primarily that will be Twitter. Hence the new focus on an Official The Sexiest® Pornstars Account there. With lots of continued support for Pornstars members on Slushe and DeviantArt. In the future i hope this will not just be gallery compilations, but i hope interactive content, contests, and festivals of Porn!
Free Porn Hosting And An Exciting New Audience.
It's very important to me non-Flickr Pro Pornstars do not feel cut off, or at all like second-class members. It's why i did my weekly galleries from non-Flickr Pro sources only. As the ultimate demonstration that you can be a top Pornstar without it. I also did not opt to go Flickr Pro. As I felt I had to "walk the walk, as well as talk the talk". I didn't feel it was right to have Flickr Pro and tell others who didn't they should "go try Slushe it'll probably all be ok!". And i'm so pleased I did, as I see new horizons and new possibilities. And feel i am in a community of other people in the same boat. Much like I did at the start of my Pornstars Journey.
A New Era And The Hot 'Sub Genre' For Pornstars To Pursue On Twitter.
Twitter displays your work so nicely. Reaches a huge potential audience. For both Photos and Videos. The Video scene on the platform in particular is so vibrant and exciting! With a 2:20 run time we enjoy fast paced, attention-grabbing, or pure eye candy Video Clips. In what I am terming a 'Sub Genre' of Second Life Porn. Which i see as maximum artistry and creativity all poured in to short video clips. Rather than speading themselves thin on longer movies which not everybody has the time to produce. Or the motivation. The new short video clips have the appearance of high quality Photography, on a moving image. They sit half way between the two. Sometimes this is just one animation, running 20 seconds. Other times it's the full 2:20. A complete little feature, or even a Promo or Trailer for a larger project. In a perfectly presented video. This trend on Twitter encouraged me to suggest a 'Short Movie' category at the SX Awards going forward. Some hugely talented people and those getting into this in the near future can now be given the spotlight they deserve. With nominations and awards. So you can see already how the new Flickr TOS around a year ago Is leading to evolution within our scene. The Flickr Pro Saga = New Awards Category! Innovations happen when we get out of our comfort zones and try something new. You have a lot of fun, and some amazing experiences too along the way!
Many Twitter Videos sit between Photography and Movie Directing in terms of genre. This has also seen some high-end, and famous Photographers on our scene, such as Rachel Swallows, or River Anwyl, plus many other friends of mine. Moving across to video work from brilliant award-winning photography careers. And becoming video producers now and again in this new era. With some stunning results!
This all gets my juices running! I'm so proud of this group and scene. All the way from its beginnings thanks to the lovely Emmanuelle. Right up to this moment today. I hope some of the benefits mentioned here and some of the diversification of hosting and the experiences gained, and featured here. Can help make it even more special.
