In May 2023. Just gone. It was a whole year since all that Flickr upheaval and those TOS changes. Meaning that anybody wishing to host NSFW had to pay, move home, or break the rules of the site. There was a lot of work done by myself on this blog, inside our Sexiest® Pornstars Group, to ensure that being Flickr Pro was not a requirement of being a 'Pornstar' in Second Life. So, i began my Weekend Galleries here in May 2022 also. Sourced from DeviantArt, Slushe, and Twitter. All the 'Free to Host' options i had settled on endorsing here on the blog and in the Sexiest® Pornstars Group. To give all those not paying monthly a chance for some spotlight and so they can feel visible. The last thing I wanted was for anybody to feel like a second-class Pornstar.

I felt that was extremely important. I also felt it was important I be one of the numbers seeking a new home for my content. As it felt a bit lame to just pay lip service to it all. And say stuff like "Oh go try that Slushe place. I'm sure it'll be fine!". I had to try these places and check out their ongoing suitability. Eventually, I found some awesome new homes and platforms for Pornstars to operate on. And report on them here and in our scene. Yes, of course, Flickr remains the mainstay of the Photo Porn scene. It's the best place to host etc. This is why Ali does her multiple weekly galleries sourced from the Sexiest Flickr Group.

But, not everybody could, or wanted to go Flickr pro. And i felt i needed to find new homes for those that were not wishing to be Flickr pro for whatever reasons. I am happy in the knowledge today that any Pornstars Members can see a highly visible scene for non-Flickr Pro-hosted content. I now feel we have made and established these new homes and alternatives, and 'Second Life Porn Industry Standard' hosts for our scene. They are thriving as alternative options. They are Twitter, DeviantArt, and Slushe.Com. New members and old have these options and a Second Life Porn community waiting for them at each, should they ever need or want them.

We now have Pornstars communities at several new homes away from just Flickr. There is no monopoly on the scene now. Anybody leaving Flickr will find new hosts and a ready-made network of fellow members waiting for them. Plus the excitement of a new audience. New members joining our scene will see they do not have to subscribe and pay monthly to operate as a Pornstar.

Slushe.Com is the biggest success story for non-Flickr Pro members. Shortly after a migration to the site away from Flickr. A special Second Life Category was added. Which symbolized a real welcome mat for all of us setting up home there. Explicit imagery is welcomed, and hosted in high quality. As well as short NSFW video clips. In short, you can upload anything to Slushe that you could before at Flickr. It is almost a like-for-like replacement. Sadly we have no 'Sexiest Group' at Slushe, with no group creation option. However, that is easily fixed. You can become more visible to other members of Sexiest Pornstars, and be visible to me for my Blog Content pool, by adding our community tag to your uploads. TheSexiestPornstarsSL. This label is our Sexiest Group at slushe! Slushe allows you to initially add a bunch of 'permanent' tags to your uploads, and if done right, you only have to do it once. Meaning everything you upload automatically carries the TheSexiestPornstarsSL label. You can then search this Tag. Others can also. Just as if browsing a 'Group. Slushe.Com is a fantastic host. Allowing so many to remain active on the scene today and in the future.

DevinatArt provides a new second Sexiest® Photo Group and a high-quality, extremely social platform for hosting NSFW content for free. ( Inside the sites TOS.). DeviantArt's rules favour milder sexual imagery, and the type of Erotic Portraits you might associate with 'Happy Ass Mondays', or 'Topless Tuesdays'. It's a brilliant home to some very talented Pornstars, who are able to continue taking part on the scene, thanks to this awesome home of Second Life Porn. DeviantArt provides a familiar feeling of home for many used to Flickr. High-quality hosting, and offers a unique, friendly, innovative social side to its membership.

Twitter is not just an alternative host for your Porn. It's a way of life. A way to fully interact with friends and meet others in our community and on our scene while not In-World. It's also a place that displays your photos nicely, and delivers your Video projects to the world! Not just the Second Life Porn scene. A global audience awaits The Sexiest® Pornstars there. This platform is also shaping the scene, and members who have branched out, even those with Flickr Pro are enjoying a new experience and finding a fresh new audience. The 2:20 minute running time on Video Clips at Twitter, for example, helped bring about a renaissance in the Video Genre on our scene. Many who had never produced a video before are now doing so. I am thrilled about this. And even a new 'Short Movie' category at this year's SX Porn Awards came about due to this. Every cloud has a silver lining! Those bad Flickr TOS changes actually brought about some positive evolution on our scene! And I'm very pleased about that. 

I follow some top, real-world porn mega stars on Twitter. And given that our group The Sexiest Pornstars was created in order to emulate a real-world scene in a virtual world. Those building up their Twitter presence do so with the knowledge they are operating on the same platform as Porn legends such as Aletta Ocean for example. There are not a lot of real-life Porn Mega Stars operating on Flickr Pro. This means members building a following and evolving our Pornstars Second Life scene on Twitter right now do so knowing they are truly emulating their Porn Idols in a real-world Porn Career. And truly acting in the spirit of our in-world group. Features such a 'Blocking' or 'Muting Key Words' mean you can customize your Twitter to be purely Second Life Porn Related. Or filter out all Politics for example. It can become whatever you wish it to be.
