A Sexiest® (and Wowtastic®) Movie Premiere: 'His'

No blog posts give me a greater pleasure to write than those dealing with movie premieres, and amongst those, always special is the thrill when it comes to debuting directors. My hope and wish is to write more of these. Today I want to announce you for today, April 27th at 8 AM SLT, the premiere of His, the first feature lenght movie, and second video in total, from Wowtastic Productions. Who are the minds - and the legs ! - behind it?

Laura Richards and Severina need no introduction, if the popularity of the Debauche dance troupe is any indication. A sold out gig in several venues all across the grid, they have been enjoying their life as models for the longest running and historic erotic SL magazine Playdolls, and are such a well established duo that it'd be impossible to imagine Laura's exquisite photography without Sev's uniquely piquing beauty as her muse. Laura and Sev have been around the world of porn for a long time, and yet this new adventure in filmaking was a surprise to me, it always is, given the amount of work involved in a movie, and how busy and satisfying their SL must be.

Their debut movie, Working it, already showed a lot of promise when it came to their desire to go all out with the sexual element and yet splash out surprises and go into uncharted territory when it comes to setting a scene up and use all the tools their experience in theater play in SL gave them. It also featured the veteran of the movie scene like Larry Vinaver, and included talents as Igor Romanov, Graham Collinson and the wonderful Geordie.
This new movie, His, featuring Graham, Talisker Braveheart and Racheal Rexen,  mantains that same desire to push the envelope and adds to it the magic of a highly refined cinematography.

Black and white has always been Laura's natural element in her career as photographer, and this movie will blow you away when it comes to displaying how expressive monochrome can be, and how vibrant with sexuality. The movie in fact switches meaningfully between colour and b&w, and there are so many well composed shots and cleverly laid out scenes that it'd be worth discussing it and analyzing it in spots like some Criterion collection classic - of course I am exaggerating, but the cinematic quality is just there and with a love for classic movies, and how evocative this medium is.

But, enough about my chit-chat: Laura and Sev are notoriously impossible to have a bad interview with, since they rub off on each other so well in their wit, and they have a lot to say about this movie and this first foray into moviemaking in general.

Obligatory question: what made you decide to get into moviemaking? (and how did you pick such a Wowtastic name for the studio??)

Laura -  It seemed to me that it was a logical step from taking pictures. I will still continue to enjoy the photography but the challenge and process of movie making is so appealing.  I have tried to incorporate so many things I have learned from photography and I think, on the whole, it worked out really well. The name came from Sev. She invented the word Wowtastic and it has totally stuck with us since.

Sev - Always really wanted to step into this scene of movie making. Theres few people in Second Life i really admire, Laura obviously is first and foremost, she inspires me. A quite famous lady in the adult scene is Miss Emily, i also admire her and she mentioned something that always stuck with me quite some time ago. "If not in movies or photoshoots then do your own". Something like that anyway to group of people maybe not happy with not being involved with many shoots
Being with Laura for any amount of time you soon realise she is incredible, a natural talented woman who excels at almost everything. For me it was natural to progress together and eventually we have.
WOWTASTIC is combination of " WOW" and "Fantastic" both words we hear a lot of at our dance shows. I mentioned Wowtastic and it stuck, indeed we see gestures of the word and it seemed so appropiate for our productions

Which were the first challenges making a movie? I am asking because it may also help someone else who is trying to take up filming and may relate and get some advice.

Laura -  The initial challenge was HOW???? I had no idea on software, hardware, the entire process. I looked around, tried a few things, found a system that seemed to work.  The other challenge in SL, for me, is remembering to turn things OFF. So many scenes had to be re shot because a message pops up, the cursor goes flying across the screen, something I forgot to tun off intrudes. I am slowly learning to complete a process of closing things down before saying action!

Sev -  For me first challenge is being unique, own style. Laura and i both wanted to step away from things seen before and be our own style.
On the technical side its Laura's domain, i have learn't to just hint, say things and then let Laura set to work. Very few things in Second Life Laura has not managed to overcome and movie making is no exception. I will myself become more involved in making, filming but right now i'm happy to write, recommend even direct and the rest will come.

One of the characterizing elements in your movie making comes, I believe, from your experience with choreography, and this gives your videos a unique look and a greater realism when it comes to certain details. There's a certain natural and polished look to several transitions, in a way that is fresh when it comes to SL adult machinima. Could you share more about your approach?

Laura -  The choreography certainly plays a major part. One thing we had both commented on was simple movement in sl movies.  It is nobody's fault. SL just does not handle movement over short distances well. We walk too fast, the AO takes a moment to kick in. And a straight line is a dream beyond most of us. After several years choreographing movement in dance routines, it seemed a very logical step to use the same approach in movies.  Plus, between us, we have a wealth of "incidental" animations. Making beds, washing windows, all that sort of thing which we think adds more realism.

Sev - I see Laura answered this perfectly, very little i can add except yes, we use exact same approach in movie making as we do in dancing, though searching for better animations is our next step for action shots.
Scenes like mirrors and housework as Laura says brings realism and really work well we feel

What was your motivation for this big step? I am talking about your sophomore video being a feature lenght movie. Was this movie entirely planned out from the beginning and designed to be this big, or it grew into a larger project?

Laura -  This was always going to be a feature length movie. I loved the challenge of it and I think more time lets you explore more ideas.  Most SL movies are ten, maybe twenty minutes long and thats fine. I have seen some brilliant ten minute movies. I just didn't think we could say what we wanted to say in that sort of time scale.  It did grow, as a project, as ideas developed, most notably from Sev. The cast grew, the storyline adapted.  I know its very ambitious of us to make what is only our second movie such a huge project but thats us .

Sev -  Fed up with just flicks doing sex from first second to last. Liked idea of a real story line, a movie which incorporates sex and adult themes but make them into something that can hold interest and expand the whole concept of movie making in Second Life.
Theres nothing wrong with smaller clips, indeed some are very good but the idea as mentioned above in expanding really does appeal. Again we are following our own style and not every movie will be as long but we trying to increase the quality in every step than what we have done before

I'd really like to know how does the writing process work between the two of you. Mention your favourite scenes/moments of the movie if you like, and how did they come about, your creative input, etc.

Laura - on this movie, I had the general idea of the situation but that was all I had. A skeleton, if you like. Sev added so much to this, bringing fresh ideas, suggestions. Ideas for characters and actors to play them.  I would never have thought of a lot of this without Sev. Usually its back and forth, telling each other what ideas we have, exploring them, deciding what would work, what would not. One of my favorite scenes is right at the end of the movie, after the credits.  I cannot watch that without feeling...flustered.

Sev - Laura came up with this idea for this particular movie. I fell in love with the general idea straight away.
Talking with Laura i introduced some of my ideas like Racheal being a Governess, the butler was masterpiece from Laura, We always talk together, we always have our own ideas and this is true from everyday situations to dancing, photography, fashion modeling shows and movie productions. We are just a natural pair who work so well together. As mentioned above lots of times i say, suggest and yes even hint, next thing Laura zooms around doing these and bringing them to life

Would you like to add something about your experiences working with others on the set?

Laura -  Its fun and so nerve-wracking.  We are still very new to this and very much learning as we go so it asks a lot of others to put up with the learning process with us. So far, though, everyone we have worked with has been a delight. Raceal was a real sweetie as well as a real professional. She knew more about what to do than I did! Talisker too, a real joy and come on, I get to do sex scenes with a hunk like Talisker?  One thing that is a slight difficulty, because of time zones, is getting everyone together on set. that takes some working out.

Sev - Going to be no secret for Laura and i both said from day one we will work best with people we actually like and get on well with.
Movie making is so new to us both so we wanted people who can be patient and understanding of this fact. Let us have time to learn, be tolerant of any mistakes and Graham who plays the gentleman actually starred in our first movie and known him for years. Always so kind and just love working with him fits perfectly into this group.
Racheal i have always liked from first meeting her, you never hear or see any drama with Racheal and for me just perfect for this role.
Talisker is another person with so little baggage. Came in just like a real pro, Laura mentioned timezones and as we all know timezones can really become a problem

And there's the OTHER obligatory question: what's next for you both?

Laura -  Next, ideally Sev will direct. I know she has an idea for a movie and what I have heard so far is wonderful. She is creatign a really rich environment for all sorts of things.  I have an idea for another movie after that but , as usual, its merely a skeleton. No doubt Sev will add flesh when the time comes.

Sev - I'm writing script for next movie and not giving many spoilers away, lets just say my past life in Second Life meets up with my present life quite well.
Not sure when filming will begin for been so busy in both Real Life and Second but movie making is about fun and will always be this and will not let it take over my Second Life but to enhance this experience.

Thank you Kat for this and we at WOWTASTIC hope everybody enjoys the movie.

A big thanks to Laura and Sev for this interview, and a big one to you for reading it! Remember to come over at the premiere, today at 8 AM SLT , with Geordie Richards as our DJ!

The Pornstars' Rack: Suitable Magazines!

What to wear what to wear? Well it's summer dammit. Wear a swimsuit or something. It is shark week and those cuties need to eat something. And if you are short on ideas, how about having a look at....

Attention Magazine

Attention June '16 ~ The Swimsuit Issue

As the woman behind the metaphorical printing press Athena details in the blog post of the debuting Attention blog, the next issue of the magazine will be up this Friday, with yet another party coming up to celebrate it.
The issue will have a special feature of a level and scope that rivals with this month's, and will be a whole theme throughout the pages. From an idea of co-owner and lead photographer Rachel Avro, it will be a 'Boys of Summer' issue. You can see the photos from the first release party of Attention here and here, and Yana Grau's photos from the second party will follow this week. If you haven't checked the magazine out yet, you REALLY might want to fix this mistake.

Morgan St.Cyr is one of the many models inside this issue, in a truly epic photoshoot coordinated, shot, edited by Partee

I am itching to give you some 'insider scoop' about it, even post a preview of the cover! But Athena has been charmingly perfidious, throwing so much material and then making me swear to silence about...stuff!

" I'm all fangirly ... I got to take pictures of Dillon Lecker.  [...]
Some of the people we are featuring for the July issue will blow people away. I'm pinching myself."

Forgetting for a moment how, I am sure, many of you would like to relieve Athena of this whole pinching task and perform it yourselves, let me just say: if the first issue seemed really well put together already, it's with the second and subsequent issues that you can really see what a magazine is made of. And Attention, after a strong opening, capitalized on the momentum and managed to put some twists and turns.

Sitting and relaxing

Attention magazine has a blog page, a presence on MP, an in-world group for modeling, and also a flickr group! This pic from Jos Loll was one of the editorial picks of this month.

Examples of the first kind, in Athena's words: "Some of the people we worked with in May led directly into June. We heard from the sim designer of May that she had opened another sim after our article came. out. So we featured her again. Then we wound up doing boats a second month in a row because the partner of Analyse Dean was keen after hearing about her experience with us."
Talking with Athena, it was easy to feel that she had sincere enthusiasm for the lineup of this issue, which mirrored mine from the sheer name value, and added to it what sounded like a positive personal experience. Not difficult to believe at all.

Brunella's interviews shine in magazine format.Waiting on her getting her own morning show, just a matter of time!

And for the second type, well...I do have an obvious example and once more in Athena's quotes, but first: Brunella Voelisa's interviews with movie director, photographer, blogger, writer and all around babe Alexandria Topaz about her latest movie, and with, enough said, Mr. Collinson. The newest addition to the Attention ranks, Graham perfects the presentation of his past work and perspective on life and photography through what he does best: showcasing one of his favourite models in a fab spread. Shyla (imcalgal).

An obvious choice for a cover model, Brea ended up with her natural engaging demeanor being an integral part of the staff and vision of the magazine.

Attention does an excellent job showcasing locations and fashion, through a cohesive and elegant graphic presentation and editorial work. Every staff member has an area of focus, but you will see the names of the co-owners Athena and Rachel Avro recurring with their photography, together with the work of substance and concept carried out by product-researcher (and Beauty of the month for this issue!) Brea Brianna and by Jon Demen , who has a vital role at the direction of the magazine .
And the entertainment and artistic contributions from BeeQueen Smythe and from Whimsical Aristocrat are the wildcards that escape narrow definitions and give that stroke of genius or madness that gives extra spice to the mix.

Allorando's Last Dance #6

Whims' writing and photography always surprise.
(no Attention Construction Editors have been harmed during the making of this shoot)

Have I forgotten something? Well yes, I owe you still a quote from Athena...

"When I hired Partee for Attention, she immediately expressed an interest in doing a swimsuit issue. I loved the idea. Several brainstorming sessions later, we came up with the idea of building the entire issue around the idea of the swimsuit. That idea has set the tone for future issues of Attention and really gave us the focus we needed. Moreover, Partee gave her heart and soul to that article. She was, without question, the star for the month of June."

Together with the beauty that is Envy Watts, let me list briefly the models shot by Partee: Aerala, Ali Lancrae, Ally Glendale, Anyka Aiseiri, Arienne Evangeline, BetteAnne Page, CeeCee Storm, Dayjavuu, Erin Cedarbridge, Faith Darrow, Fawn Serenity, Jo Devoitine, Kimmyo, Lara Sands Dieterle, Michelle Deveraux, Monique LeFry, Morgan St.Cyr, NP Milneaux, Racheal Rexen, Rachel Avro, SaraWW001 Warwillow, Shyla, Sunday Whitewood, Tisha Carfield, Tomcat Tackleberry. Damn, this is so hard to read!

I find fitting to close on this particular note, and I know that for the next issue i will have to write even more names and spend even more superlatives about this magazine. Get your copy on Marketplace, or on any of the kiosks, before the new issue comes out this Friday!

Want to be on the blog as well? Feel free to write me about your projects and let's see if we can put some more...stuff! in here!

The Pornstars' Rack : Friday the 32nd!

It's Friday the 13th, so which better day to put the highlight on some things that saw the light for Halloween but that I haven't 'reviewed' yet here on the blog. And of course I am talking about...

Aroused! Magazine

Aroused! Magazine Issue 31

Halloween stimulated the creativity of all the artists involved, and it was a real joy, and actually made me a little nervous, to have to deal with such an abundance of excellent photoshoots. Aroused normally doesn't run themes, as it is entirely about the photographers' freedom, but this issue certainly had a distinct otherworldly flow to it.

DoubleDeez Dethly is one of the three sensationally beautiful models shot by Spirit in her 'Tones' photoset.

It was really a beautiful adventure to put the issue together, and I believe the best tribute I can pay to the artists in it is saying how thankful I am for this - but I don't want to wait till Thanksgiving to make this post, especially because by then the NEW issue of Aroused will be out by then!
I can only say that it was impossible for me not to take this chance to put on the cover the wonderful Tatiana Easterwood in her juicy halloween scene, but it was also great to have on the teaser of the issue a pic from the sublimely crawly shoot Nicasio Ansar did with the, insert redudant adjective here, Ziekling Bunnyhug.

Ziekel v (9.28.2015)

Adele Simondsen managed to sneak into yet another eerie pic and can now add 'Shadow Model' to her credentials.

And really, so many shoots of this issue captured the mood in a perfect way. From the darker side of Halloween with Nakuru's shoot with the bewitching Zynda, Adele Simondsen's moonlit erotica and Luigi Trappatoni's obscure nightmare (featuring also Junah, Erika Thorkveld, Fleur Coco, DarkAngel69 Vig, IlenaAphris, Leena BigBoots, Cindy Frindy, Erika Madazahatter), to the pastel tones of Lylah Landar getting treated with no tricks by Damien Godard in a candy paradise, and Cream Release wearing one costume that certainly makes it hard to keep 'Quiet' and would make her noticed in a desert as well.

Shhh... (Aroused! #32)

For all the Metal Gears fans out there, something that is not just metal.

From the gorgeous colours of the autumn in Lara Dieterle's photoshoot to the ethereal atmospheres of Spirit's shoot with Double Deez, Kristal Kastle and Hyst Vicious, the issue opens with the Erotigacha 5 winner Melina Jameson and closes with a special dedication signed Athena Obviate, to her partner.
And in between, I had the pleasure to show a bit more of a place dear to me and increasingly popular amongst the pornstars crowd, thanks to the effort and talents of their regulars. I am talking of course of Brit-X. You know them for the Topless Tuesday party, for their magazine (latest issue came out yesterday!), and for the absolutely amazing sexiness they set Flickr on fire with, like it was Guy Fawkes on the 5th.

Club, promenade....also carwash and colonic clinic? Dunno! Check out the whole set in the mag to find out!
Laredo and Paige did an excellent work as photographers, together with the wonderful Kat. Kassner of course.

I am really happy of the reception the magazine got in its release close to Halloween, it has been a real blast: I also received literally dozens of response for this 'ad' my partner invented , promoting a new initiative her naughty mind devised !

Spread For Me...

Want to find out more? Well, easy. Check out Aroused's issure 32. It is all soaked up in the Halloween spirit and pumpkin juice typical of its release date, but it won't go stale: you can fetch it from Marketplace, or of course read it on Issuu! But if you grab the copy in-world, you'll be eligible also for the very special 'Fuck the editor' , i mean, 'Spread for me' live photoshoot feature! So go hit that MP (or kiosks, IM me or Marika Blaisdale for one if you have a club/store/public place you want it at), and check out all the nawty stuff the amazing Aroused artists invented. Have a great day!

Pumpkin_Patch2

...and stay tuned for the next issue. Somehow, i think that the message looks better when it has some ass to go with it.

'Onyx Blaze' by Ravi

Movie post time! What is it gonna be today? An easy one for me, because it's another Bhairavi production, it's...

Third movie, wow. I had to stop for a moment and wonder if there was a mistake, but no, this is in fact Ravi's third movie. Onyx Blaze.
Only the third, and yet, with ease she puts together 30 minutes of authentic storytelling. A movie about true love...and a porn one at that.

"The woman Onyx spent a night with a new lover, Zuby. When she came home she told everything her wife Crystal, a hermaphrodite. They live in an open relationship and enjoy their lifes of freedom. But unforeseen Crystal became very jealous. After a dispute Crystal leave Onyx. Both woman fall in confusion and adventures of pleasure and pain."

Now, my 'job' with these posts is to bring to your attention releases from the scene, and give a well deserved mention to the talent involved and perhaps some new information. Nobody puts more effort giving credit to her cast than Ravi herself, tho. Once more, her blog post about the movie is celebratory (in the true sense of the word) and brings spotlight and insight over every cast member involved.

No matter how small the final screentime for the role might be, every actor is organic to Ravi's vision of the story, and she does a splendid job highlighting their contribution and thanking them for what they added. Which is, I think, the best part about our community.

Besides the wonderful homage to all the people involved, you have to visit her blog also to get a glimpse of the mindframe she was in when planning the movie, including a very subtle consideration about the POV i did not initially think about. This is in fact, just check it out.....porn....

With definitely hot sex scenes. Very well paced, as I already pointed out for her other 2 movies. A very solid start with a steamy lesbian scene, and after that you get other hot hardcore scenes, with a naughty trip into BDSM territory.

...so, porn, I was saying....But also, a story that is very much focused on the 2 main characters and their relationship. This is certainly the most memorable aspect of the movie. Ravi uses some creative visual solutions to portray the tension simmering between the two lovers, and you have to check it out to realize how effective it is!

There are so many aspects worth being highlighted in this movie, so full of passion and with the ambition of telling a story, or rather, another episode in the story of the two main characters, reprised from Ravi's debut 'Crystal Facets'. And since there's little point doing a poor copy of what already has been told, just go read her post.

"How they create their life and the importance of freedom to both. From the beginning it was my plan not only to produce a single movie with a single story. The idea behind every film is to tell more what happen. To develop different storylines, put some together, seperate them. In other words, make it deeper. Awake the roles to life."

And watch the damn movie, because stories are much more fun when shown, and not told! And this movie does a great job and goes to great lenghts to show. Even the most intimate and impalpable aspects of a relationship.

Which is after the jump!
And if you feel like talking to me about your movie, please do! I love to cover your work!

Exhibitionists: Domino and Graham @ Katmee's

It's a true pleasure to see the community we call of "Pornstars" in SL gather very different type of people, with very different personal histories and with very different takes on the sensual and sexual side of SL.

This time, I am just going to bring your attention to a thoroughly creative person with Katmee. Someone with a great love for the arts, not to mention a very pronounced artistic side herself, and wonderfully sensual. But back to the first point, love for the arts: she put together a lovely installation, which now is hosting the exhibit of 2 outstanding artists from our group: Domino Dupre and Graham Collinson.

  Katmee
Katmee, by Domino Dupre

I sat down (yes, this time for real. Waiting at her beautiful sim also proved to be a very interesting experience...) with her and had a chat, curious especially about the possibilities for fellow Pornstars members to enjoy the facilities she kindly puts at our disposal.

- First of all, short and to the point: what motivated you into starting a gallery in SL?

"Well. I have MS and went on disability a couple of years ago. My RL brother suggested SL and that it'd be fun for me. Sort of an outlet for my creativity. I had been playing around with 3d mesh programs and doing artist renders so when I checked out Second Life, the gallery just seemed natural. I bought mainland and made my first one on one of the original sims. Made a lot of mistakes and learned tons of stuff. I do wish I got more traffic and more people saw the pieces here."

winner_002
Katmee and Drakaina Lamia were the proud winners of the Flossify Contest ! Still open to visit ( taxi )

- Your place shows a certain eclectism and attention to various forms of arts. I am of course interested a lot in your taste for erotica. How did you find out about The Sexiest Pornstars group?

"I met Maddelyn Maye at one point and was at her island one day and met Domino Dupre."

  My First Exhibit!
Domino, by Domino, shown in front of Domino, by Domino. Topple one and begin the game!

"She suggested joining the group and has been very encouraging. I found the group to be closely knit at first but she encouraged me to keep posting and helped me break in. That was about the time I discovered SL photography..."

- Sexuality and eros played a role already in your life as artist and as a woman, I imagine.

"Most of my 3d renders were erotic in nature. I am drawn to erotic art because it's more fun for me to learn that way and to explore different techniques. My grandmother said to me once "Katherine, just remember to have fun. No matter how long you live it won't be nearly long enough."

Kat's grandma also taught her proper table manners

- That's great to hear. (well, not that we won't live long enough. That's sad ! ) We do like to encourage people to express themselves. And I believe in erotica as a good way to find stimulation, no pun intended, into trying new things.

"Fine Art can be very intimidating given the centuries of great artists. And yes, exploring and playing around with erotica is fun. Art should be fun and the nature of art is to play.
I am very sexual. I guess because I am open-minded. I am learning to be more open about all of that in SL. I live in the U.S. and it's still very Puritanical. People here hide their sexually. Especially women I think. "Slut" is still a huge stigma. Actually I think the net and things like Netflix have really helped."

One of the many unique models of mr. Collinson, China Gausman, helps me illustrate the exhibit.

"I've watched some series from New Zealand and there is a lot more sex in their shows. It seems more natural and fun somehow. In the U.S. being sexually open somehow equates to "betrayal" or having no morals which is nonsense.

And sexuality is safer here because there are no STD's !"

- Very true ! "Natural and "fun" are two adjectives that I would use to define your own erotic artwork as well. I appreciate it and I am glad to see you doing it. And also that everyone in this room is STD free, yes.

Speaking of STDs: porn God and notorious Graham stalker Luigi Trappatoni protests for not being in the exhibit.

- You already mentioned Domino: what made you choose Graham Collinson and her respectively as your first featured artists?

"Well I have admired both of their work for quite a while now. Along with many others. And they seemed like a good match to show together. They have similarities to their work and enough differences to make a nice contrast without clashing And both of them said "yes" right away and followed through which is really what it takes when you invite artists to exhibit."

My First Exhibit!
Domino knows how to put a great display!  She also takes photos, I am told.

- The sim has various other exhibits, and 'several fun spots to take your own photos', not just the gallery. I'd love it you wanted to share more about it for our readers. What did you build first, for instance, and your favourite spots ?

"Trying to remember...I think I sort of put out the buildings I wanted to use first and my home, then played around until I found a positioning I liked. The little town square of the gallery emerged and then I built the stream. Next came the farm areas that is still evolving. That is one of my favorite places and will be good for photos I think. I will eventually put something else there Maybe the Tuscan Villa by 8f8."

icecream_005
Katmee and her tasty treats. Her sim has beautiful sites, like this.

"And I do have a sky platform for different sets. Right now I have a bakery train car and a camping set in a woods. I just added a barber shop for a photo shoot I want to do and then I'll put something else there.

One of my favorite spots is the little patio next to the building where guest artists exhibit. It's next to the water and very relaxing to sit and think there. There is a spot where people can rez a row boat. I like to do that and then row about and sit on the water."

- Oh yes. You also like to sail, don't you? There's a movie you might like to check out then...

"Yes I love to sail. Especially on the Blake Sea. Raymond and I had an island in the tropical part of Sailors Cove for months before we moved over here. I miss that part of SL and try to get over there and rez a boat at least once a week in some of the public rez areas. Sailing is very relaxing and a great place to think about images and what might come next."

- Do you have other oncoming projects linked to your venue and do you have already plans for other artists to be featured?

"I plan on Drakaina Lamia exhibiting and have talked with Havoc Mayhem and Laura D as well as Lil Lowey. And I see lots of folks on Flickr I would love to invite like Kat Kassner. I think my next project will be the camping scene. I think it will be highly erotic in nature. I am trying to decide on a male model to use. someone who has nice looking feet and maybe a mesh body. These days I tend to only shoot models with mesh bodies."

Kat in her natural habitat

Thank you very much to Katmee for sitting down for the interview. Now, you already know Domino and Graham very well, i am sure, so just GO Visit their exhibition at Katmee's gallery!!

Also, as a little treat and to learn more about this due of artists, I suggest you to take a look at one of the many excellent blog posts Domino has been doing through the years, where the two met and had a chat. It is from some time back, but you will find how certain aspects can remain remarkably the same!
