As well as the prestigious statue seen in the last post. Nominee's at the Awards show will be presented with their gift bags, full of exclusive items. Some of which can be seen here modelled by some who will not be competing in the awards, and photographed by Jinx Jiersen.

THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS happen, because a lot of people give up their time to organise the event. Right now the venue is being built, on a Sim donated to us for the Awards Show. Emmanuelle has already had the big job of collating all the entries, and sent them to myself and Louise who have worked hard to find willing judges, and organise and liaise between them getting scoring and voting underway. The Judges too of course are giving up many hours of their time, to watch hundreds of movies. Emma, myself, Louise, and others are also working to organise the show itself.

I also have to pay tribute, and say very special thanks to Mirko Panacek. Who has really devoted so much time and expertise into these awards already. Designing and building the wonderful Awards Statues. Mirko also designed and made the lingerie and male outfits for the Nominee's gift bags seen modelled in this post. His Company, Sensuelle Lingerie are an official sponsor of the awards. I really believe Mirko's contribution has given the whole event extra sparkle, making it really feel like our own "Oscars" in Second Life Porn.

THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS : NOMINEE'S NEWS : PART 1

If you get Nominated, what can you expect? Firstly, you'll be sent an invitation to attend the awards. Which in itself is a pretty amazing event. The after party is open to all, but the show itself is only open to Nominee's, organisers, judges, performers, and hosts. ( Due to lag and the event running smoothly the numbers have to be restricted. ). Secondly, this year for the first time we will be giving out "Oscars Style" gift bags to Nominee's too, some of the contents of which you can see in Part 2 of this post. Thirdly, another new addition to this years awards, Nominee statues! To celebrate a very special achievement of being voted for and appearing at the Awards Show.

Above is the Award Statue going to Nominee's for this years THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS! Potentially there could be 40 winners of this statue with 5 names appearing in each of the 8 categories. However, multiple nominations usually occur at the Awards. The Nominee Statues will carry the category name, so if you are a multiple nominee, you will get multiple statues! Somebody could have a very impressive mantle piece at home, with a few of these and a winners statue maybe!?

Judges Cards Starting To Come In!

Judges score cards are starting to come in for Round One of judging on the THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS. Once all are in, myself and Louise Silverweb will begin converting the Judges short lists into score cards. Judges are sending in their top five names for nominations, and we then assign 6 points to their #1 choice, down to 1 point for the #5 choice. Entrants will have to score highly on each of the score cards to receive a nomination, with up to 3 Judges scoring each category.

I already have a very clear picture of a couple of categories, and things are getting very, very exciting. I can only watch the judging process happening, we don't take part in it. So myself and Louise are the only onlookers to what is probably the most exciting few weeks in Second Life Porn annually.

If all goes well with Judges Real Lives, we hope to begin announcing Nominations next week, exclusively here on the Blog!

THE SEXIEST FILM AWARDS 2012 FOCUS : BEST NEWCOMER

No I'm not the best newcomer. This is just a promo pic.

I'm starting off this series with the newest category in the awards. "Best Newcomer" is one of the most exciting categories ever in the awards. It was proposed more than two years ago for the first awards, but there was just not quite enough room for it. I'm very pleased it's in now.

The criteria for this award is quite simple. If you made your second life porn movie debut in 2012, then you are eligible! This award is open to boys, girls, T-Girls, anybody who first appeared last year.

I'd say you have a very good chance if you have a movie appearance anything like the pics below!

It's also not a Producers Award. meaning you get the statue, and the nomination, not the director who shot you. Although of course the Director would be delighted to get the kudos for shooting the Sexiest newcomer in Second Life Porn!

All you have to do is select the movie you felt made you look the hottest, and captured you at your best, pick a sizzling sex scene you appeared in, or a movie which just made every ones mouth water when you were on screen. Then fill out a Sexiest Award entry form. I won my first Sexiest Award nominating myself as Sexiest Actress in my first ever film, it was nowhere near my best movie, or a masterpiece i just felt it showed me off well and gave me lots of screen time, and that's my advice to any potential entries for this one, step back and imagine you're a judge, pick the movie with the very hottest clips of you. Judges take each movie on face value, reputations are not a factor, some judges are not even aware of any names in porn movies. Everybody comes into this on a equal footing.

THE SEXIEST® AWARDS : RULES AND CATEGORIES FOR 2015

The entry phase of The Sexiest® Awards is now under way. This year see's the biggest change since the event began, Second Life's Porn's 'Oscars' is now a Movie and Photography awards. With Modelling and Photography added to reflect the Second Life Porn scene as it is today. Stars from every part of our scene can shine in this event. Below is all the info you need to know, and we'll post more news as we get it from the organizers and the awards judges. Up to Nomination announcements, and show details. The Sexiest®  NEWCOMER

The actor/actress or model who made their debut in the calendar year 2014, and has had the sexiest and biggest impact on the Second Life erotica scene.

Models : Please state the Photographer who took your picture in the entry form. You are free to enter yourself as a model in others work.



ENTRIES BEGIN ON JANUARY 1st 2015. ENTRY FORMS WILL BE RELEASED IN THE PORNSTARS GROUP VIA NOTICE ON THAT DAY, AND THROUGHOUT THE ENTRY PERIOD. ALSO IN VENDORS AT PORNSTARS PARTY EVENTS.

JUDGING

Judging will be over seen by a head judge.  It’s their task to pick and choose the judges that are as knowledgeable and unbiased as possible. The head judges only vote in the event of a split, or tied vote from the Sexiest Judging panel.


ELIGIBILITY ( Only Open To Sexiest® Pornstars Second Life Group Members. )
To enter into a category:

1.    Your movie must have been shown on XTube or Naughty Machinima in 2014. And your picture added to The Sexiest Flickr group in 2014, or a 2014 picture added to that group with your entry form.

Photo Entries. Your images must have been produced/uploaded in 2014. They must also be added to The Sexiest® Flickr Group.

2.    It must still be on that site as a PUBLIC VIDEO with a working Embed Code
3.    You must pay 25L for EVERY entry you choose to enter when you turn in your entry note card.
4.    Every entrant must be in THE PORNSTARS group.
5.    One entry per person per category. ( You can enter multiple, or all categories you are eligible for. )
6.    All entries must be received by January 26th 2015 at 11:59 pm SLT

NOT FOR PROFIT
This will be a not for profit show.
All entry money will go to paying for the show and those putting on the show.

A Percentage of any profits will also go to a charity organisation. Full details to be disclosed on the Pornstars Blog.

COST
The entry is 25L per category.
You must pay the avatar - 250L Resident - for EVERY entry you choose to enter.
You must pay when you submit your ENTRY. No late payments.


NOMINEES
The 5 final nominees in each category will be announced through to February as and when head judges report in with final scores.

Each day we will announce the 5 nominees from the 1 of the 10 categories.



THE SHOW

THE SEXIEST® AWARDS show will be announced on The Pornstars Blog, and via notices in our in world group.

Details of the Venue will be released on The Pornstars Blog.

Dress will be FORMAL & SEXY. ( With details to follow on low lag low script outfits. )

There will also be an AFTER PARTY!!! Where the doors to the event will be open to all Pornstars members.

In the interest of fairness, organizers, or group owners WILL NOT be entering any categories ourselves.

However, I don’t think it’s fair for us to stop a co-star or cast member from our productions entering.

So I hope you will believe that any movie we were involved in will be treated fairly. And, more importantly, that any of your movies will be treated fairly too.


FINALLY
We will try to be as fair as we can be.

We’ll also try to be as professional as possible. But if we do get something wrong, please remember that we’re all people with real lives doing our best.

Also, no sniping and snarking about the results. No pouting. Pouting isn’t sexy and even Santa doesn’t like it :)

Potentially 50 people will walk away with a award statue as Nominee's, and a huge sense of achievement. The winners i hope will be viewed by all as very worthy, and representing a snapshot of the very best on our Second Life Porn scene in 2014.

THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS 2012 : COMING SOON : A HEADS UP!

This is really a preemptive announcement just to give producers advanced warnings and a reminder. The SEXIEST® Awards are happening and full details and coverage will be released soon on the blog. For those new to our porn scene. This is our "Oscars" rewarding Directors, Producers, Actors, and Actresses. This year we have many new surprises, and exciting new developments to report.

For now the most important information is, that even though entries will continue for some weeks after Christmas, and well into January...

THE AWARDS ARE FOR MOVIES RELEASED IN 2012. YOUR FILMS MUST BE UPLOADED BEFORE NEW YEAR. TO SL PORN TUBE, TO BE ELIGIBLE.

Awards cover Producers, Directors, Actors and Actresses. So all these roles must fall within a project released this year.

DEADLINE THIS FRIDAY!! (So let's answer some questions)

The deadline for THE SEXIEST® is just 2 days away!! So I wanted to answer some questions in the blog that people have asked me.

1. CAN I ENTER SOMEONE ELSE?
Please don't. Everyone should just enter their own things. If we get more than one entry for the same thing, it will get confusing.

2. I DON'T HAVE ANY CHANCE OF WINNING!
Not true. Some of the categories are popular. But right now we don't have as many BEST ACTORS as you might think. And it's true of some of the other categories as well. With 12 categories, you have a good chance of your talent shining through.

3. WHERE DO I SEND MY ENTRY FEE?
Everyone has been really good about sending their entry forms and money to 200L RESIDENT. That's our awards show accountant. That way none of us hold the money for the show in our own accounts. Keeps it clean.

4. WHAT'S AN EMBED CODE?
On Naughty Machinima and The Naughty Bitch just look around when you watch your video and you will see it. Putting the EMBED CODE on your entry lets us show it in other places. Like a site for the judges!!!

5. IS BEST DIRECTOR FOR ONE FILM OR ALL THE FILMS YOU'VE DONE?
Great question. One film. Just like the Oscars. We really can't ask all the judges to watch every film on NM or NB. That's why we need people to submit entries too. It makes it easier to judge.

6. WHY AREN'T YOU ENTERING EMANUELLE?
Awww how sweet you are? Well the answer is I am not entering my own stuff to try and seem as fair as I can be. BUT please don't be mad if some of my work is in the show. I don't want to disallow a Co-Star for THE SEXIEST COUPLE or a CO-WRITER for THE SEXIEST STORY their due. So I have a feeling you will see enough of my work.

7. WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR THE SHOW?

A couple notes from 200L Resident about entries:

- Please be sure to fill out a movie for every category. At the Oscars, the Best Actress wins for a role in a movie!!

- Please don't enter other people. It's very kind of you to want to do that. But it can get confusing if there is more than one entry for a person on a film. And it keeps the amount of entries down for our judges.
