What's today's movie, you might...wonder?



Alexandria Topaz is one of those members of this community who put easily the 'star' in 'pornstar'. It's not (just :p) an easy way for me to pay her a compliment, I am simply pointing out here two virtues that are easy to spot almost at a glance.
First, she is a natural promoter. And if you have a look at her Peaches and Cream blog, you will see that I do not just mean 'self' promoter....which would be already a great trait to possess, mind you. Being effective at promoting the work you do and appear in greatly helps everyone involved, together with perpetuating the 'stardom' of the porn movement in general.

But no, I mean also that she is very good at the promotion of others: on her blog in the past month you can find records of events and personalities of this porn world we're in, filtered through her astute but candid perspective (her...looking glass, if you will). That includes of course also the actors involved in this production.
If you are not a follower of Alexa's blog already, you should consider doing it: not only you get to read the 'insider' news about the adult entertainment scene, but when she is busy in a long term project, you will experience the buildup and carefully released sneak peeks getting yourself excited about it all!

Ah, two paragraphs in and not spoken about the movie, have I? I am fairly sure that from the iconography here, not to mention the, uh, title, you have already guessed what's the inspiration for this flick! Alexandria appeared in more than a magazine these days with her beauty and talents, and in particular as I mentioned recently she released a very in-depth interview with the (younger and sexier) porn version of Barbara Walters, Brunella Voelisa, for Attention Magazine #2. Credits to the terrific work done there (and also thanks to Alexa herself for providing me the 'transcript' saving me the trouble to type it back!), have a look at what she had to say about this movie!

"Alexa In Wonderland-A Midsummers Wet Dream" came about as a result of chatting with a fellow male Porn Star, Eros Plutonian. I told Eros that a new "Alice in Wonderland-Through the Looking Glass" is coming out. Needless to say I'm a fan of Tim Burton. I thought there have been porn productions of Alice In Wonderland so I'd like to make my own. I loved the movie as a child, what better way of just putting my own spin in a porn production for it. I told Eros how i wanted to present it, He wrote it along with me, found several Actors and Actresses I wanted to use and got to work. :)

Some of the challenges were shooting the sex scenes in Dysphoria -A wonderful theme presentation of Alice In Wonderland. Dysphoria is not a Mature Sim per say. 
I had to actually create a mock up set of Wonderland to my best ability so that I could shoot at both Dysphoria for regular scenes and shoot the sex scenes on my set. 
It took hours of getting extra scenes and Green Screening to make it appear as though it was all shot in one place. 
Hard Work? You better believe it.. lol. But my motto is "nothing come easy as a result of hard working. I like to thrive on challenges so i wont stop until i have a solution to what I want to bring forth. "

I opened the the post saying that I was going to point out two of Alexandria's qualities that make easy to define her a pornSTAR. The first being the way she manages to publicize her material. The second one...is that she is actually really good at what she does!
I am especially glad about this movie release, because as she rememembers still in the interview, some of her productions were erased 'thanks' to the Great SL Porn Tube Crysis of 2014. While she came up last year with "Her Afterschool Special", a movie that clearly shows her passion for movies with a story, nothing quite like a take on Lewis Carrol/Tim Burton could be more indicative of Alexandria's dark humour and abilities to play with fantasy atmospheres!

I had the chance to work with her for Innsmouth: The Carnal Rapture, and I am very grateful for all the things I learned on set thanks to her. Truly an experience I rank amongst the most rewarding in my 'acting' career. The talents involved in this are already proven names in the world of porn : Chris C., Damien Godard, Eros Plutonian, Rachel Avro . They all put great care in their look, fitting perfectly Alexandria's vision. Who again  displays her vaste skillset as cinematographer in both the filming of the dainty Dysphoria sim and the sweaty steamy sticky sex sequences.

Right:  I am not writing for le Cahiers or E!, so I'd better just tell you, oh reader of a porn blog: this movie has so much sex. Blowjobs, assfucks, threesomes, interracial (not interspecies because CC is not really a bunny... I think?) plenty for your discerning palate! Yep, yep, you won't feel it lacking in fucks, at all, and I am sure you can enjoy the chuckle at the jokes, and the art direction is extremely pleasing, accessible, not artsy despite the dreamy factor of the enchanting locations.

Wanna Flick? Alice In Wonderlust

Time for a little coverage of crazy movie hotness! Let's see where to begin from. From here, perhaps!

We always suggest to drop by at parties to meet photographers and directors and be seen: in this case, at yesterday's party at Miss Emily's, I spotted a link this director posted in local chat.

While local chat at a party is not exactly the place I'd advise you for the promotion of your movie - I was busy listening to the amazing tunes of Dj Zoey and was not in the mood to stop following the party to watch a movie - , it still got the job done this time, as I happened to be there and I saved the link for future reference.

It's the first time i have the chance to cover a movie by Mats, and I hope to have more! As you can see, it follows the popular workout theme, and does it in a very competent way. The intro of the studio, complete with a short audio clip, is one of the best in recent memory, very well done, so of course the director does care about a proper presentation of his material despite the lack of credits in the actual video. In his picks I found the following description:

" Check out Wonderlusts latest video titled "Wonder Yoga" Hotness ensues as ϹΛIПΣ lay eyes on JṍṳṙṅḕẏṤḱẏḕ as she is doing her yoga at the wonderlust gym. running time 12 minutes "

The actors ( cainedreadmoore and theoreticallyspeaking78 the in-world names )  are two fresh faces to the scene, and I look forward, definitely, to see them again.

Check also out Wonderlust Studio' flickr stream to see more about their projects. They know how to make porn look really porny, I wouldn't be surprised if I learned that they have a big Luigi Trappatoni portrait in their main studio !



But speaking of porn and workouts, another really 'young' director made a movie this month,



Big Daddy Ves puts on screen once more the exciting antics of Asari and Des Firekat, already featured in previous vids. In this never seen before crossover, indeed Red Riding Hood, err Rider Hoe I mean, is true to her name! No big bad wolf there, but there is doggy-style action!

Alice is lucky meeting an overpowering dame in red not as interested in detaching heads from bodies as the original, but rather into stuffing her holes with rubber BBC.

Another sexy display from Asari and Des, and certainly in a setting not used enough in porn! Ah I'd love so much an orgy with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. And of course the Dormouse, hoping it does not get lost or stuck someplace.

Before I ruin someone's childhood with the wrong mental picture, I leave you to one more reminder of the HOT cast of the movie, and tell you, once more...

Alice's Adventures in Humperland - Down the tepid hole

So, Erika Thorkveld had this sunstroke... I mean, this absolutely zany idea. Brilliant choice of quote at the beginning btw!
She made this set inspired by the first chapter of the famous Lewis Carroll novel. Which, as she reminds us, is public domain and you can find on the Internet for free, in case you are up for a good reading.

Erika's post about it can be found of course on her super-up-to-date blog. I am quoting her comments in flickr that outline the idea behind this project and explain some more:

'If you need it, the original novel is in the public domain, you can read it here for example. Feel free to pick whatever you like in it, doesn't have to be chapter 2.
Most of the props have been done by me so I can give them away, even the rabbit av is full perms. The only thing that isn't is Alice's outfit, so you'll have to use me to get the exact same one. I'm sure it's possible to find something close enough if you prefer to have someone else as Alice. *smiles*[...]
Now I would love to see some other people take over and do a few other chapters of the book, I sure won't be able to do everything by myself - chapter 1 was already quite a piece of work… But well… I know people have more ideas than time to make them happen, so maybe I'm dreaming a little. *smiles*
