A Sexiest® Movie Premiere: Bikini Zone

"Welcome to the Marina del Rey yacht club which hosts spectacular events, themed parties and unforgettable cruises, on some of the most expensive superyachts in the world. These superyacht owners love showing off their celebrity friends and high profile  guests on the weekends while yachting about the beautiful blue Pacific."

I have been waiting to announce one of these! A movie premiere, ladies and gentlemen! Twice the fun for a movie which does feature a movie premiere...oh, trust me, it will make sense once you watch it. But let's try and not wander away too much or we might get lost ...in the Bikini Zone !

In the tradition of the Filthy Penny premieres, we'll start gathering around 7:15 PM SLT for the in-world display of the movie: the music and dance party will start streaming at 8 PM, the designated hour for the Official Pornstars party. The superyachts where many scenes of the movie (and the party and fun and glamour!) take place are in fact anchored in a special cove in the municipality of Portocorvo (with the kind patronage from its mayor Vicki, for the love of Arts, and not just because she is one of the stars of the movie), with its beautiful resident dj Zuby Bloom! It's a premiere and a party on some schnazzy yacht, so I am sure you will want to dress the part!

I mean...undressing the part is also fun too, though.

The movie is the most recent production, after a year long hiatus from the scene, from award winning director Mitzy Broadway. Where did she disappear? Ah, maybe  there is an explanation in the movie! Well, yes and no, it's a different story...

Those of you reading this post that have even a passing awareness of Mitzy's past work should already be sold on that, because Mitzy's movie are easy to watch and enjoy and their quality is apparent even at first glance. They offer a fun story, brilliant visuals, and are paced and edited without dull moments but still giving every moment a chance to sink in and every detail a chance to shine.

Details in the scenery, first and foremost: I mean, this movie looks totally high production value. Not just because of the crazy expensive yachts (courtesy of BBX, and we always love when designers recognize the value of adult content creators and offer their assistance), but also because of the variety of settings within the tropical set, which leads to some unpredictable twists I am not gonna spoil, even if I may sneak in a picture or two that might pique your curiosity. Suffice to say, a cast of movie stars  joins a director for a movie shoot , a party ensues (oh yes, we're getting meta) and the shenanigans wil lead to a mystery to be investigated, which may be be branching into events that go way beyond the occurrences of a single wild night.

Mitzy's movies tend to throw some curveballs in their well crafted plots. So, the work on the sets was stellar: move aside, Disney and StageCraft! SL excels at optimizing movie sets as wide as the horizon using little boxed sims. And what's with ReSpeecher and cloning the voice of Mark Hamil and James Earl Jones? Pfsh! Mitzy's got real voice actors... I jest of course, but the usage of voice in the movie is very real and it adds a special something when done right.

And the voice talents certainly did it right, starting with the man who does not even make news anymore when he nails a look and a perfomance, vocally too ! Larry Vinaver is rumored to have drank a lot of Pepsi to get the pitch right ! No seriously, that's what I was told, I am not sure if there's some sponsorship involved or what...Anyway, what is there to say about the Man himself? He looks great in (and out of!) a uniform, for sure. In and out of a Renni too, but I digress.

With regards to voice acting, and looking good in uniform, the 'key' character of this movie, without spoiling it, is arguably Laura Kennedy, a Coast Guard captain portrayed by the ever gorgeous Heather Ashford, back in her role as Executive Producer as well. Heather's contribution to Mitzy's movies is always of the highest quality and importance, and this starring role allows her to perform as both an officer and as gentlewoman. Oh, not so gentle maybe...but there were some bad boys who deserved a firm touch.

I mentioned 'details' earlier, and in a movie, and that's what makes movies always particularly exciting to me: to see each person's individual looks shine for a common goal.

Heck, with so much stellar talent in this production, I updated my avi just because (after a bit of a hiatus from SL) I wanted to make sure I could at least say I made an effort. I knew everyone else would. Each Mitzy movie very much feels like a labor of love, and stems from unique inspiration - little hint for whoever is patient and interested in the adult arts enough to read my blabbering: Mitzy is already producing the next movie, and it has a fantastic idea at its core. Perhaps if you show up at the premiere you can know more and be part of it !

But yes, without a doubt everyone in the movie I had the pleasure to work with, looked at their best. Some were actors I had the pleasure of working with for ages, and I'd have anecdotes about the great flexibility and ingenuity of some like Anyka Aiseiri, and for others it was my first time, and hopefully not their last - the male cast has some real standouts in my view such as Kadon Doge and "Eddie Woods" aka Alsedel Liewellyn). Of course a special mention in the cast, which I will list below, goes to Rachel Avro not only for the successful debut of a curvier look, but also because of her tireless work as co-director and casting director - scheduling the shots is always a nightmare, of exponentially increased difficulty the larger the cast is.

Ah, what else to add? To quote a star of the movie, "Mitzy has a talent that brings out the best in us all", and I have to agree: in my case,I am fairly certain it brought out talents I don't even have! It's movie magic baby, and this movie has plenty of that magic. Which is why we'll be waiting for you at 8 PM SLT today for the party - do show up earlier so we can watch it together and have a chat, the movie lends itself to it quite a bit, being so entertaining for the smallest details (I think the Xalted snort should be in every movie like the Wilhem Scream).

I believe I've said enough: I actually talked very little about the, you know, porn content of it, but Mitzy is guaranteed to deliver in that sense. You will find a very satisfying combination and permutation of sexual acts between guys and gals, shot through excellent camerawork (Mitzy really loved to make the camera get some wicked sexy close-ups here) a few things that will tickle your fancy I may have hinted at....and there's even wrestling! Yes, wait, what?

Okay, without further ado, especially since I don't want to unveil the whole plot here , there you have the credits, and see you after the jump!

Here we are. Thanks for reading, and as I often do, I remind you that it's time to watch the movie, and doing it at the party might be your best shot not only to share the experience, but also to meet Mitzy and the rest of the cast. Maybe you can ask Xalted to play the guitar for you (just don't ask him how he snapped a G-string while fingering A-minor, that'd be mean), but we have already a DJ who is excellent at her job! Come by at 8 PM SLT and see by yourselves.

A Sexiest® Movie Premiere: Quarantena

We truly live in interesting times, and if there is a genre of entertainment who is known to stay on top of the news and tackle any kind of subject, often from unusual angles, that is... porn movies, of course! It was only a matter of time then before we'd cover some SL adult movie about the most significant event of 2020 (besides Kanye running for President). But don't let this theme scare you off: we're in SL and we do not need to practice social distancing. In fact I am inviting you to a PARTY today Saturday 18th, a MOVIE PREMIERE!

We'll start gathering around 7:15 PM SLT for the first display in-world of QUARANTENA, the newest Filthy Penny Production from Rude Runner Studios. Of course it means it is a Mitzy Broadway movie. Mitzy has been one of the brightest stars on the porn scene not just for the obvious top quality of her filming, but also for her embracing the star system playful dynamic that helps having a 'porn scene' to begin with. The party will then begin with DJ Zuby Gloom at the console. Late entrants will get the chance to watch the movie of course: don't worry about it, as obviously these parties are meant to essentialy celebrate the efforts of the filmaker, staff and cast. And...to meet them and who knows, be part of their next effort!

Because the movie is again a group effort. Starting with Mitzy' staff (executive director Heather Ashford and casting director Rachel Avro) and with everyone on the roster as on screen talent, plus the golden voice of the one and only mr. Rysan Fall. What IS this movie about though? The COVID-19 emergency is no laughing matter, but porn is known for not shying away from any topic in a liberating, apotropaic fashion. Is this movie then a little bit of a farce where people play doctor and crack some topical joke while jumping at the chance to get people to boink, perhaps wearing some misplaced protective gear? Actually, not quite! Sorry, no hazmat suit shagging, fellas. But here's the good news...

As usual I don't want to read deeply into a porn movie script and give myself through my interpretation of the material more 'importance'. It's a super enjoyable porn movie with some of the best visuals that Mitzy put together. Mitzy has been doing some truly majestic and visionary set and costume design in the past, while this is set in our reality and time. However, the focus is truly on the bodies, the lighting, the mood: dealing with a material so close to home made the camera explore the sensuality and the intimacy. A sense of fonder rather than wonder.

The story is simple: in a way there is none, since through the fil rouge of the radio speaker voiced by Rysan the movie explores the way different people around the world deal with the isolation dictated by the safety precautions. We have two people from different walks of life living on opposite sides of the same street in Manhattan, a couple frustrated by the lack of access to Miami Beach, a couple in London dealing with distance regulations in the kitchen, two women having a wild time in lockdown during a safari in South Africa, and finally a sax-and-sex time at the imaginary adult resort "Quarantena" on the Tuscany coast.

To put it simply: the movie is beautiful on many levels. Aesthetically as I already mentioned, but also for its ability to be tactful in its brazen porny handling of the subject matter. It's easy to make a 'porn parody' of anything, it is much harder to depict situations that evoke real intimacy, quirks and deep needs of human beings forced in a less than optimal situation but that go ahead living their lives - particularly beautiful in this sense the first episode, featuring Heather Ashford and Damien Godard in a relationship not physically consummated, and the last one, with Mitzy and Max in the quintessential erotic/exotic dream setting.

Every episode shows a subtly different aspect of human nature and relationships, does it gracefully and sensuously, it has plenty moments that make you smile, even more than flat out arouse, and has a positive and hopeful message even throughout the occasional melancholic moment - and all of this without trying to drive anything home heavily. It has one of the best ending sections too - which may seem surprising since I said that there's no real 'story' - even if Mitzy and Rysan do give continuity to segments. The various characters get to have a very fitting curtain call through mock videos of popular social networks. The 'backstage' feature contributes to the intimate and personal focus on the characters.

There would still be plenty more to say, especially in a movie like this with no large group scenes and with so much screen time and close attention to the various characters, but as usual, watching the movie is the best tribute to this effort. Here's the full credits for the movie, and meet you after the jump as usual!

That's it, folks! But it is only the beginning, actually! You have to watch this movie. And I suggest to do it at the premiere. Come on over for the party, meet Mitzy and the rest of the cast. Remember that parties like this are truly the best way to network. Mitzy's movies have involved a cast of dozens of people, and being part of it is far from an impossible dream. Even if movies are not your focus or you don't think you'd be a good fit (as I said before, you probably are -wrong!-), I still hope you'll consider showing up, since movie premieres are the most unique events for our community, they are sadly infrequent and they help supporting the creators' efforts. Join us at 7:15 PM on site - and we'll have all the fun and music of the pornstar party right after!

And remember to wash your hands!
