THE SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS : MORE INFO!

Thanks to Mirko's designs and Jinx's photography we've seen some of the outfits inside the The SEXIEST® Awards gift bags, which will be presented to all Nominee's at the awards. So far all the outfits seen have been sexy lingerie, which is awesome of course! But, we do have some hot guys entered into the awards, so we need something to show them off.

NEWS OF THE JUDGING  AND SCORING IN THE 2012 SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS. 

FROM THE HEAD JUDGES.

I felt while there are still some days remaining until midnight on the 24th of January the final day to enter the awards! It was a good time to show you all how the judging is going to work. The system myself ( Serenity Juneberry ) and Louise Silverweb, the head judges are using is adapted from Pixie Rains very thorough and fair system from the 2011 awards. Here are some words from Louise to explain things further.......

When Sere and I were asked to be head judges for this years Sexiest Awards. We wanted to be sure that each entry to  the competition  was judged fairly and that no entry could receive favouritism and influence from any quarter.

We have therefore structured a judging procedure outlined below which we believe bears scrutiny from any observer and will provide a totally impartial result.

An important factor in this process is the selection of the judges. We wanted a cross section of people who would represent the opinions of the viewing  public, knowledge of the adult entertainment industry and those who possess a knowledge of the technical attributes of a good movie.

We believe we have selected a team of judges who can provide all these criteria. Theses together with the structure for judging devised will we hope make this years awards an impartial true and fair competition.

THE SEXIEST® Film Awards are divided into eight categories: “Best Film”, “Best Director”, “Best Story” and so on.

ROUND ONE JUDGING AND SCORING.

In Round 1, each of the judges assesses the “Best Film” plus other categories allocated to them. In all cases two or more judges will be allocated the same category. No one judge gets to select nominee's.

Each judge watches all the films that have been entered into the categories they have been assigned and reports the five that they wish to go through to Round 2, in order #1 to #5.

We ( The Head Judges. ) will then determine the five nominees per category as follows:
A 1st placed film is awarded 6 points, a 2nd placed 4 points, a 3rd 3 points, 4th 2 and 5th placed 1 point.

All the marks from all the judges assessing that particular category are added up and the highest scoring five films go through to Round 2. These five films become the categories’  “nominees”.

If there is a tie for the 5th placed film in any given category then we have a casting vote to decide which of the tied films goes through to Round 2.

ROUND TWO JUDGING AND SCORING.


In round two judges will receive the nominee lists from the 8 categories, and continue their judging. By scoring and marking each list of five nominee's. As before 1st placed film is awarded 6 points, a 2nd placed 4 points, a 3rd 3 points, 4th 2 and 5th placed 1 point.

The judges will not just score each category once, with their favourites in mind. They have 5 areas and criteria to mark each one on. When they are done, us as head judges will be sent 5 score cards, per judge per category. We will then total all these scores up, to produce the final results.

I'm sure you'll agree this all adds up to the most thorough and fair way possible to judge these awards.

*Technique – scores the films on factors which include camera control, lag control, pose ball editing, hair and clothes clipping etc.

*Composition – scores the films on factors which include how the film looks overall, how the shot is framed, colour management, Wind light, set and scenery design etc.

*Post-Production – scores the films on factors which include editing, transitions, titles and introductions, sound management and synchronisation etc.

*Category – scores the film based on how the movie sits within the category. ie, this girl is the hottest for best actress, this story is the best for best story, this film is just the best, for best film, and so on. Also weigh up the appropriateness of the movie within the category.

*THE SEXIEST® - simply scores the film on its overall sexiness.

SEXIEST® FILM AWARDS 2012 : IMPORTANT NEWS FOR PRODUCERS!!!

With the awards getting under way later this time around, some of the important rules and info coincided with many producers holidays. With this in mind we've adapted the rules about all movies being featured at SL Porn Tube.

The rules state movies have to have been uploaded to that site in 2012. However, the Judging Panel after some requests have allowed producers to upload movies to SL Porn Tube from now until the closing date of the 24th of January.

Now the IMPORTANT detail. These movies must have initially been released in 2012 at Naughty Machinima. Also proof must be provided on the entry form. ie, the URL to the first release with the date showing some time in 2012.

This is a rule adaption to aid producers who may not have seen the Sexiest Awards rules in time. It's not a way to get a late, 2013 movie into the Awards. Those I'm afraid will have to be entered into the next Awards. Any movie with purely 2013 dates will be a void entry and not counted.

* You can upload now to SL Porn Tube, until the closing date on the 24th Of January, and be eligible, if your movie was released in 2012 on Naughty Machinima, and you have that movie displaying the correct date. When entering please provide the URL to the original 2012 release, as Proof of being a 2012 movie. As well as the SL Porn Tube new release URL.
