Thank you for your interest in being a part of the Erotique Spirit Photography group!
We are excited to work with you and learn from each other in this wonderful initiative!
What is the purpose of this group you ask? Well, it is for serious-minded photography and modeling enthusiasts who want to improve their skills or learn new things while working with a collaborative group and be a quality contributors of the SL Photography and Modeling community.
What can you expect from the group?
Models who are open to change, suggestions, ideas, will have opportunities to pose with various photographers in order to build up their portfolios. Please note that sometimes change is good, but doesn't need to be permanent. We can become very attached to a certain look. But, sometimes it is good to try new things. Saving a variety of "avatar looks" is a good practice, and will open different doors of opportunities. Again, an open mind is key! Criticisms are always meant to be constructive!
Photographers will be working with each other on the use of lighting, scene design, camera positioning, creativity, and post-production editing with the goal of building a portfolio of high quality photography work.
Models and Photographers will all have opportunities to work with each other on collaboration ideas and projects that will be set in motion by a moderator group. Works will also have chances to be shown in two galleries in SL, the Erotique Gallery, and The Spirit World Erotic Art Gallery. Members are highly encouraged to join the flickr group so that their work can be seen and followed. Work will also have the potential to be featured on various blogs.
All group members will be given advice on opportunities for networking within the community. Group members should be willing to work with each other to practice and advance their craft.
What do you have to do to join?
The group is 'open' but not just click and join. Once you have contacted A Moderator about your interest, they will have a little talk with you, just to get to know you a bit. You will also be asked to fill out a return a little, "getting to know you" information form that you will find at the bottom of this notecard. Once it is returned, you will be added to the group. We don't want this group to be "elitist" but we want to be sure that people are willing to be open minded, and are serious about what the group is all about. We are wanting to create a community of collaborative artist of a quality standard, and welcome people that want to be a contributing part of it.
These of course are just beginnings of ideas, incentives, purpose, to be added to, expanded, changed, discussed.
Membership is not to be taken lightly, and Moderators will reserve the right to remove disruptive or difficult members from the group. Warnings and opportunities to remedy negative attitudes will be given, and solutions discussed, being ejected from the group will be the last resort. Please leave your egos at the door! XD
