Looking for something to do with this weekend? SL is of course full of shopping distractions. But one thing we just love is of course...free stuff! And what better way to get those than going for a hunt?



SL 'treasure hunts' are one funny and unique experience. It's not (just) about the items you get, it's about the stores you can discover that way. Do I need to lay out the concept of a 'SL treasure hunt' for you? Oh it's easy.
In this case, you go places, you keep your eyes peeled for cock. No, I am not implying that you can meet handsome guys while shopping, I mean it literally.



The sight of these golden peens should be a familiar one for you, as this is sort of a traditional appointment for our community. The Hunt For Your Inner Slut is at its twelveth installment here. Twelve times over these cocks have been lovingly handled and placed to the perfect spot where they can release their content. And that is thanks to the work of the organizers, first and foremost the coordinator Leannan Wolfgang, aka SufferingFrom Lockjaw.

You know her very well as the premier voice actress in our scene, owner of the Erotipose store ( psst.... #41 in the hunt), 'the other DJ Wolfgang' at Emily's parties together with her husband, Master, award grabber AND hunt team member James Wolfgang, and many other things she did, does, and possibly will do (including talk show hostess...shhh).

To know every useful information about the hunt - not to mention, the SLUrls of the stores you have to visit for it- you have to visit the excellent HYIS website. The hint page will point you to the stores, and give you, duh, hints on where to go look for cock.
Amd you can and should also visit the Gifts page, where the items avalaible are displayed: in the interest of fairness to the partecipating stores (the whole point of a hunt is to be enjoyed without too much cherry-picking), the HYIS website will give you each time a new combination of photos.

You can find in the hunt a lot of interesting stores, and the organizers gave clear guidelines to not make it a cakewalk but also not frustrating.  Amongst the news, the welcome introduction of the Sponsors page in the main website, where you can easily get also to the MP of the stores involved, and....oh yes, this edition features also a Gacha point, for you addicts out there! Wanna Flick? Mel and Zuby's inZane Halloween!

Halloween parties, gotta love those! There have been SO many. And you need to be in a costume for all of them....at the beginning at least. Ah such is the tough life of the pornstar!

Ahh this movie is so nice. It is classic SL machinima porn (had a good laugh at the iconic porn groove), but also with a distinct 'Holiday movie' feel. It's fun, with a simple and enjoyable story that yet is enough fleshed out to be interesting. The focus on Zuby and Melanie works very well, with of course Kain and his sex scene partner Brookie certainly holding their own in their role!

I love to see Zane an active part of the scene, and the cameos by the party guests Leannan&James Wolfgang, Jamezz Doulton, Domino Dupre make the scene possible , and a fun one to watch. The collaborative nature of SL porn is always self evident in most projects. I must say it was funny to see Melanie , Zuby and Kain star in the another truly themed Halloween movie, with a complete different feel from the previously covered Meg Corral one.

It was actually not 'entirely' a coincidence. When Zane was set on making a movie with that sexy Oryl duo, and was looking for a theme, Halloween was a natural choice. Melanie and Zuby built the sets you see in this movie, and when facing the choices of what direction to take with the movie, the idea to involve another couple in it in a sex scene came up, with Kain and Brookie as choice. The result is the well shot and entertaining movie you see here, with the fun feel of the festivity but also a beautifully shot and very natural and intimate open sequence, made even better by the protagonists. That's just a literal translation of one verse of one of my favourite songs ever, Linha do Equador. Now I might as well talk about my personal thoughts and emotions here, because, really....Ravi Redfield is a pleasant singularity in the adult arts scene.
Nobody like her makes my work so easy and comes so close to what would be my ideal: she is incredibly eager to share (via her blog) with the community the inspiration, motives, thoughts that are behind her movies.
The interactions with the actors, the story of their casting in one role or the other.
The story of what happened, to make the movie what it is.

Still, her work speaks by itself, and speaks strongly. It was like that in her debut movie, from that joyous ode to life that its very opening is, to the multiform, and sometimes duplicitous, nature of the feelings involved in Onyx Blaze. In this movie, actually, Ravi 'speaks' (with the voice of the premier voice actress in our scene, Leannan Wolfgang), giving us in the opening narration the tone of the movie.

"Greetings, my name is Ravi.
Since mankind existed, we have built relationships , communities and societies.
City states were founded, empires and nations, but all this is based on 2 people that find each other and live together.
In all ages there are more than one combination between a man and a woman.
Let me invite you to a journey of relationships that shows the most common these days."

Ravi's journey spans between 5 scenes, with a heterosexual couple, a lesbian couple, a gay couple, a transgender one, and ends in a polyamorous 'family'. Every scene has points of interest and subtle nuances in the way it is portrayed. One bit I am quoting, to exemplify the thoughtful yet spontaneous esprit that animated Ravi putting together the movie...

" The last sequence with visual effects is the transgender couple. When I was editing it the records appear too blurry to me. And the loud sounds of a big city seemed not to fit. I tried some effects and after minutes I found out that it would be best to sharpen all the scenes. Transgender are not a blurry image. 

They are real and live upon us in Second Life. I always wanted to show that transgenders are not fuck dolls or always horny. It was my main concern in this part to show them like every human. Sensitive, seeking for love and harmony. 

It was the only one time where Ravi take an active part when they were dancing. Maybe it is only my imagination, but I also wanted to show, that to be naked between transgenders is a full natural thing. So is having sex. That's why she sit close to Erika and Phoenix while they had pleasure. To make all the scenes sharp has to focus the watcher how clear transgender see their own body. That they accept and enjoy it all what they are. There are no genders, only human beings." 

I especially appreciated this role of Ravi as 'narrator', and it made me indeed smile how she sorta turned the table by being part of the aforementioned scene. Which I found quite appropriate, at that point of the movie. There's a beautiful irony, i believe, in how varied are the options, and how liquid the roles can be, in SL especially.

Watch the movie. It's a movie with feeling and a message not hammered down your throat : a journey made in SL through a lot of potential situations you have almost surely met here in SL, with the opennes that marks this world. It has the sexual flow of a Ravi movie, who can somehow handle the naughtiest and most prurient situations with the same candor of her fluffy tail.

And it's a murder mystery ! ...ok , ok, I made that one up.

I thoroughly enjoyed it: I had the luck of also being a part of it, but Ravi said already better than I could, how the mood on set was, and in general how she works, what she needs in the movie, how she shoots. From my own perspective, I can only add that the shooting was to me a total breeze. We had the look sorted in advance - I appreciate a lot a director's input on that- and my partner in the scene Mels was as Ravi said, her pleasant and fun self that most people in the group know, but also very professional and helped with competence with every little 'challenge'. A real pleasure working with them both, and being part of it was something really special.



Below lies the movie! Yay! Busted spooky-tacular Halloween special is one of those landmarks of erotic publications in SL, and truly a blast. I have of course to highlight the contribution by every Sexiest Pornstar in the issue. First of all, the official winners!...from the cover girl, Kittyinda Henhouse, right here...

...to the lovely Tammy Jones-Pinedo and her own take on Maleficent, in a photoshoot any magazine would have loved to featured, to runner-ups Brea Brianna and Adele Simondsen. Two of the most active pornstars on the scene, showing how it's entirely not coincidental how you keep seeing them in the work of many photographers.

You get to see the bewitching beauty of Adele and her generous display of hemoglobin later in the issue as well, in a shoot by, well, Bewitched Difference, of course. Because let's not forget, how this 200+ pages magazine is way more than a collection of readers' submissions and promotional content...




Rachel and Be as always put in fact a massive dose of work in the issue. Be rocks the fashion features with a hair-pulling special, stargazes with Sadi Siamendes, and of course travels around the world, meets interesting people and kills them. Rachel travels with menacing looking blades as well, and in the tradition of the Halloween specials being also an occasion to celebrate photographers and supporters of the magazine, puts on the other side of the lens staffers like Leannan Wolfgang and Spirit Eleonara, and names very familiar to us such as the gorgeous Rhiannon Skinstad. On top of, yeah, well, putting together the magazine and all that obscure work.

The Busted Specials always have that ...special feel to them, there's no denying it. While being a magazine with quality, exclusive photoshoots from selected photographers (you can apply to model through their website, tho, never forget that!), in the specials Busted opens up its doors (do magazines have doors? Uhm, whatever) to those readers who want to put in effort and appear in it.
The result is a memorable and really entertaining issue.
