i've started and watching it grow.. is my in-world porn info center.. P.I.C ( porn info center).. seeing i love to help people as best i can  or steering them in the right direction of who can help them.. Serenity had the idea

of me doing a column in the blog on tips and advice from porn stars...so here is the first one..

A  week ago.. i was watching the chat in the group, like i do so many times. A new guy to the group

asked for some help on updating his look. Now that is one area i have NO clue where you guys shop. Few

ladies gave some suggestions and a guy or two..  Well... im a curious person.. for those that know me well.

So i asked a few guys for some advice and or places to go to...which was no easy task... that's like sacred information to some of you men out there.. *giggles*

First question... i asked..  was  where are the good places to go to for male skins? 

Belleza , UNIQUE MEGASTORE-The newer ones are good without the plastic nipples.

If you want a younger look, I go for one of The Body Co. Skins  ( from Scoob)

My current one is from Redgrave. I have a black skin from Telleq. The details on the face is brilliant, but I think the body is a bit over the top, but I am sure a lot wouldnt mind at all. 

 The general advice from a photographer is to have some facial and body hair. It makes the avi look more real somehow. 

Belleza also have good skins and Guarded Cross have some unique ones. I reckommend people to check out the store.   ( From Graham Collinson)

Male Hair.... where do you men shop for hair... ?

Hair for men is a nightmare. My first hair was from Damselfy. Then I got one from Laq. The one I have now is from UW, and is sadly very popular:)

Dura has some very interesting ones. I recommend to check them out  (Graham Collinson)

Any other male accessory stores that might be helpful and what they have?

I used to use Hoorenbeek a lot, and my inventory probably keeps like 90% of their store. Great shop, good quality and it can be useful to add yourself to their mailing list and check out the sales they have every weekend. Almost all the jeans I wear are from them. So are my shoes. Hoorenbeek has a wide selection of stuff. A little pricey though if you dont shop during their sales.

Guarded cross have some great stuff too. I go there regulary and is probably his best customer. His shirts and tops are awesome. As mentioned, he also makes skins. A well kept secret on sl:)

I should mention my friend Anna`s shop "Just because" too. She sells a lot of full outfits (except shoes) and she hand draws all the textures by hand. Good prices too.  (Graham Collinson)

Most Importantly... that all favorite male body apart that you men have to buy...your fav?

Aeros .. the only way to fly :P    ( Jamezz)

Get a nice cock such as the Aero's Nemo or the Xcite4.

make sure cocks is matched to skin for god sake,  and don't make them hang to your knees (Scoob)

I use an Aeros Magnus. I still think the Xcite cocks look better, but Aeros`is more useful in porn as you can move them as you wish. (Graham Collinson)

Any other advice?

Try to find something that makes your Avi Unique different .. but still sexy as hell .. cause if you don't want to look like every one else you want to stand out  ( Jamezz Doulton )

Check out the stores, and visit regulary. Get on their mailing lists and shop when its discounted. As a photograper my advice must be to tone down yourself a bit. On SL guys are far too big and almost impossible to adjust to animations. If you want to look real, keep some facial and body hair. 

Another piece of advice is to find your shape before your skin. But then again, I talk like a photographer now, not a fashion model.   ( Graham Collinson )

Go to parties, become friends, don't get pushy, and really at the end of the day learn to be productive yourself, I had a shitty ass laggy computer that got 2 frames per second all the time and still made a effort to make movies then and spent countless hours uploading. It isn't hard to make a video at all, sure you may not have the best graphics  just like me when I started but it's worth a shot instead of waiting on someone to cast you which could take ages.

If you are into photography, lean to take some pictures, do close ups and use the free photo editor called picmonkey.com to edit and make the pictures look 50 times better,  and also  adobe is even giving their CS2 products for free.  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/  ( Scoob )
