I am jesting of course! Spring is awesome. At-chooo. *sighs and sniffles*. Not kidding though about a new issue of SL Connoisseur being available, and it's an issue full of suprises and deliciousness just like Easter, to which it is dedicated. And about ideas, well...it is a magazine that is bound to give you some REALLY naughty ideas when it presents this month too three attractive ladies in various state of undressing. Only one can be the cover lady , and the honor goes this month to Deanna Greene (xxdeannagxx), shot by the always inventive Kara Hawk, who for this month once more puts her photography (not to mention metereology and entomology) skillz to good use for a beautiful set that makes the model shine in a classy presentation. The contrast between the foxy lady with a strong diva makeup and the natural setting and choice of clothes, especially in the beautiful wet garments, is one more example of a magazine photoshoot that truly accomplishes what it is meant to do.
The Pet of the Month shoot does not want to play second fiddle though: the blonde beauty Morana Erin is a welcome return for the opening shoot of the magazine, her curves highlighted by perfect poses and angles with soulful lighting. You gotta love alluring displays like this and I am elated to report that it comes from a new collaborator to the magazine. Our readers are familiar with her, someone who made an impact on the scene in a short time - and some may have in fact eyed up also the very naughty behind the scene she posted, so rich in stories but also more than hinting at her sharp eye for classic pin up photography. September Red here keeps up with the tradition of talented artists who get with SL Connoisseur the incentive and platform to measure themselves with the world of magazine photography, complete with its rigors and requirements.
Speaking of which, this will be the last (at least in the near future!) issue with a sim photography report coming from Osiris LeShelle. Osi has brought to the feature a perfect mix of sharp photography, interesting interviews and a personable and so very involving narration. This month's article had the daunting task of presenting a sim mercurial and ephemeral, but at the same rich in history and features that requires to be 'lived' and explored. Osi really gave the article the perfect feel and I urge you to read it. I think one of the best qualities in her reports has always been the balance between the respectful embrace of the creators' vision for the sim, and the swinging spirit of explorer so apparent from her diaries.
So, do you want to be in the next issue? The road for May's issue starts now! Today April 4th at 11 AM SLT, SL Connoisseur throws the monthly release party with the tunes of the always hot Leannan McCormick, and photos WILL be taken: big thanks to Kristina Deschanel for that : her contribution to every issue as magazine 'technical editor' who has fingerprints literally in every page of the mag comes on top of the two photoshoots she does in every issue and that involve YOU! It's that simple, and that's without mentioning all the possibilities that come from networking: any pornstar party can bring good things to you, but magazine parties can be especially fruitful in that sense. Don't be shy in making the staff feel the love, magazines are hard work!
