Amagad, that's like, today! Good news is, you don't have to dress -completely- for it!

And about ideas, well...it is a magazine that is bound to give you some REALLY naughty ideas when it presents this month too three attractive ladies in various state of undressing. Only one can be the cover lady , and the honor goes this month to Deanna Greene (xxdeannagxx), shot by the always inventive Kara Hawk, who for this month once more puts her photography (not to mention metereology and entomology) skillz to good use for a beautiful set that makes the model shine in a classy presentation. The contrast between the foxy lady with a strong diva makeup and the natural setting and choice of clothes, especially in the beautiful wet garments, is one more example of a magazine photoshoot that truly accomplishes what it is meant to do.

Who can deny climate change now, hm? Prob is, some may see it as a positive phenomenon now...

The Pet of the Month shoot does not want to play second fiddle though: the blonde beauty Morana Erin is a welcome return for the opening shoot of the magazine, her curves highlighted by perfect poses and angles with soulful lighting. You gotta love alluring displays like this and I am elated to report that it comes from a new collaborator to the magazine. Our readers are familiar with her, someone who made an impact on the scene in a short time - and some may have in fact eyed up also the very naughty behind the scene she posted, so rich in stories but also more than hinting at her sharp eye for classic pin up photography. September Red here keeps up with the tradition of talented artists who get with SL Connoisseur the incentive and platform to measure themselves with the world of magazine photography, complete with its rigors and requirements.

Speaking of which, this will be the last (at least in the near future!) issue with a sim photography report coming from Osiris LeShelle. Osi has brought to the feature a perfect mix of sharp photography, interesting interviews and a personable and so very involving narration. This month's article had the daunting task of presenting a sim mercurial and ephemeral, but at the same rich in history and features that requires to be 'lived' and explored. Osi really gave the article the perfect feel and I urge you to read it. I think one of the best qualities in her reports has always been the balance between the respectful embrace of the creators' vision for the sim, and the swinging spirit of explorer so apparent from her diaries.

SL: a world full of possibilities and we are happy to be reminded of that.

Second life loves some green in March, and in my country I would have never heard or celebrated a festivity such as St. Patrick day without SL to show me something about it. Ah, I got so many free rides on the back seat of that car in my day!

No no, this issue has a great mood, taking the most exciting aspect of the month ! It covers that Mardi Gras feeling through Osiris LeShelle's usual fine work, this time in a trip to New Orleans, in SL of course! Her sweet blend is at work here, with the interview with the creator(s) and her own playful narration. Osi always manages to inform you about points of interest in the sim and the whole feel of it guiding you through it both in words and through her photography. Her sim reports are comprehensive but also a very personal experience I find compelling: even when she covers places I have already visited, her tour diaries make me wish to retrace her steps and see the place under a different light!

"Light". See? Get it?

Definitely a green light when it comes to the modeling features of the magazine, and yes, I just love St Patrick's Day. Again we have two main pictorial features, and like last month I feel like highlighting first the beautiful work done by the 'junior' staffer of the magazine, DJIceQueen. Not only I am quite fond of her photography, always subtly erotic in the choice of poses and lights, but also because of the fact that her feature brings on the pages of the magazine a longtime Sexiest Pornstars member like Azura Lowbeam.

You know, according to Zeno, Harmony should never be able to reach the gnome...

The centerfold model for the issue is Harmony Jones, the classic bodacious beauty you'd definitely want to get lucky with, no beer goggles needed! Kara Hawk keeps up with the tradition, not only with a themed photoshoot more Irish than a rainbow cast on a leprechaun bathing in Guinness, but first and foremost her own tradition: infusing the shots with the kind of levity that only highlights the beauty of the model, giving that 'joie de vivre' vibe that truly makes a pin-up shine. There's always at least one photo in Kara's pictorials you have never seen before anywhere, and Kara without a doubt has sharp photography instincts and is one of the most original of her kind.

Okay, with all that being said: it's time to party, and bring it on! One more gorgeous find appeared last issue and can flaunt in her modeling portfolio a magazine feature! And just doing what? Showing up looking great!

Another month brings a new issue of SL Connoisseur, which means a new month's worth of articles, shopping tips and obviously, sexy girls! As I like to remind to our readers, Edvard Taurion's magazine takes pride in the interaction with its audience, and an integral part of living the SL 'pornstar' dream involves appearing in something with a special feel, such as, a magazine! Pictorials which in this issue are of course themed around Valentine's day! Once more it's nice to single out one of the staff members who grows in their role month by month, and that's the case for DJIceQueen. First of all, her nightlife review casts the spotlight every month on a new club from the diverse and seemingly endless selection of entertaiment venues in Second Life: with this sort of article you get also to know more of the true life and soul of a club in SL, and that's the performers - we do not hear enough about the DJs, sometimes, and SLC instead puts great importance to them! But also, DJIceQueen provides some quality T&A: aren't we here for that? Well then, peek at a photo from her inspired Valentine-inspired (yes, repetition on purpose!) photoset with the sensual GGMcMillan.

Month after month I praise the photographers and the formula from SL Connoisseur, on how it sustains the growth of photographers who rise to the occasion to produce magazine-worthy efforts. This month too it's the case, with Kara Hawk's pictorial providing a lovely slice of life happening on the 14th, in the morning routine of another little bit of a SLbrity. I am talking about Ivana Hanni, director and owner of the notorious venue Castle Ivana. Counting all the models SL Connoisseur has presented would be a hard task: what we love is that it happens every month, and that involves the business owners and well traveled SLite as well as the debutante. Including the pretty Party Star, LadyMay2015.

The club at Kiki's is nice and warm, so don't be shy when it comes to getting in your undies.

It would not be February and it would not be Connoisseur without a handful articles of sponsored content introduced by Edvard, including the usual fun themed selection, and without all the other articles, including Avielle Jewell's fashion feature, once more bringing to the magazine a designer known for their imaginative and eclectic creations, and Osiris LeShelle's travel diaries, pleasing to read and to eye up with all the lovely photography flowing with the exposition. New year, new magazines! Well, new issues of good ole magazines, that is. Here's the launch of the latest ...

January, to quote the incipit of an article here, can be a 'long and boring month', coming down from a big time of holidays, gifts and multiple hos. This issue though pulls out all the stops to be packed with content for every taste, with the staff working extra-hard, sometimes twice or thrice as hard and with new angles on true and tried features. An extra special instalment of SL Connoisseur that gets 2019 off to a good start!

If you wonder about the party dress code, what can I say? Less is more, sometimes!

Speaking of good starts, I like to remind you that the best and sure way to be part of the magazine, and be part of any and every gig in SL, is being the first to show interest. How? For instance, showing up at the party ! At 11 PM SLT today Thursday 3rd, SL Connoisseur throws the release party, which gives Kiki (Kristina Deschanel, the person in charge of putting together this publication!) the material to begin and end the issue. A great chance to meet the staff, starting with the owner Edvard Taurion, and be photographed by Kiki in some candid shots - including possibly the party star full pictorial!

That is a great policy, try and do  THAT on MP! pfft!

Starting to dig into the plentiful offer of this issue: as you can expect there are several product features and related interviews - I am especially happy to highlight the presence of renowned designers such as Bandor Beningborough of Maui fame, and Toxxic Rhiannyr, whose reputation preceeds her and that brough in the past her expertise as judge for the SX Awards. Both have been supporters of the adult arts in SL, with Bandor's Debauchery brand sponsoring Miss Emily amongst others. It is really nice to read some more about them, together with other usual suspects from Edvard's list of patrons.

Sneak into my club will you, you wasically wabbit?

Avielle Jewell led not just Toxxic's interview, which would be already a pretty formidable contribution, but also once more gives a different spin (wait for it...) to the Nightlife feature, this time not focusing on a club/location, but on a person. With all the wonderful DJ personalities we have in our group, I am sure I don't need to tell you how fascinating it can be to sit down and talk to someone about their choices and inspirations, so why not? DJs are often the soul of clubs more than the venue itself. Osiris Leshelle too pulled double duty, in two sim features that show quite nicely her range: one comes across as more photography oriented thanks to the flow of a sharp descriptive style of her writing, the other is built around the conversation with the creative mind behind the sim(s). Both are lovely shot travel diaries worth checking out.

Fetish activities? Oh I have this hunch about some of our readers interested in that...

I almost forgot the models! Not really, i was saving the juiciest parts for last! Across the past months and since her addition to the roster, DJIceQueen has provided photography to support several features as you can see in this issue she is tasked with a Pet of the Month pictorial featuring Sᴀɢᴇ Hᴇᴀᴛʜᴇɴ Vɪᴄɪᴏᴜs (MsKittenheel )! She shows dedication and talent. Both the 'studio' pictorials this month had to go with the new year theme obviously, and again I have to congratulate Kara Hawk for her centerfold, as the boobylicious (seriously, check those curves out!) Maya Moon is skillfully highlighted in every bit throughout a sexy and playful countdown. Kara's creative approaches to pictorials is truly one of the highlights of the magazine.

Since 'tis the season of giving, SL Connoisseur this time brings even more features than usual, with some sweet variations to its consistently applied formula. The most notable one being the presence of an 'extra' Pet of the Month, in the person of the sensual Mina Grace (6pinkpassion9). Her pictorial adds a different, adumbral take on the holidays, and looks just charming.

Is is also worth noting that the second 'youngest' member of the staff Avielle Jewell has a full fledged interview with what is definitely one of my favourite cosmetics designers around, featured in several top of the line events in SL. Together with the usual parterre of designers who have been working with Edvard on the blog as well, will give you a slew of products to check out.

As for the rest of the crew that has been on the magazine longer, no better way to sum it than giving a shoutout to the covergirl herself, the prized Kristina Deschanel, shot by Kara Hawk. Without forgetting the gorgeous Pet of the Month, PEA Pevensey, captured in her beauty again by Kara, I am especially glad to see Kristina experience again the camera from the other side. Life and soul of the SL Connoisseur processing in every page, Kristina has the never easy task an editor has, to try and make everything fit before the end of the month thanks to everyone's contribution. A task to which she adds the entirely different challenge to keep those party photos coming seizing the moment every first Thursday of the month!

Now that Halloween is over, you might think you had enough with all the sweets, but it's still time for some major eye-candy in the latest issue of..
SL Connoisseur

 

After celebrating the magazine's anniversary with the last issue, it's time to get down to business...again and still! That's what SL Connoisseur has always been doing with remarkable consistency, and this issue really shines for the editorial content brought by Edvard Taurion himself in his patented presentations, with the addition of new interviews with sim owners and designers!


Ah the tough work of researching for an article!

It's easy to see the substantial contribution brought once more by Avielle Jewell in terms of well structured interviews, aided in this issue also by the photography of DJ Ice Queen, who we met in the anniversary issue. The new focus on clubs is an exciting feature, adding to the travel diaries of the always entertaining Osiris Leshelle, this month reporting from the endless summer of SL.


Interviews are a good way to understand the inspiration of these artistically inclined minds, such as Narcisse Constantine.

SL Connoisseur is certainly a commercial magazine, but the sponsored articles through the informative formula are far from being dry. The selection is broad as ever, including early Xmas products (because you KNOW that once a big marketing ploy...I mean holiday such as Halloween was over, it was time to be hit by another!) and naughtiness coming from historic names of our group, both as makers (Jodi Morane to name one) and as models, as shown in some sexy wrasslin' by LauraSpain Neox and the ever dependable Kristina Deschanel .


Aina Tenenbaum is one of the designers who surely we like to see not just for their creations!

Kiki in every issue does the thankless job of making eeeeverything behind the scenes work, and you know what is coming when I mention her: she is usually at the other side of the lens, snapping shots of the various party guests for what has to be the best feature of the magazine for the little (or not so little!) vain tart in us. In SL Connoisseur you always end up being a part of the next issue when you simply show up and take part in the joy that accompanies a new release. Which means, a party!


The club scene in SL is vibrant and this ongoing feature shows great promise.

I know she won't be at this particular party because of her RL, but of course I need to use, once more, a whole paragraph to talk about one of the magazine's best success stories in Kara Hawk. In this issue she gets to do not only the Pet of the month feature that brought so many exciting and fresh pictorials in this 2018, but she also was tasked with shooting one of SL Connoisseur's longest time sponsors and friends, and a constant familiar presence in the Sexiest Pornstar group: Selina Anatra. For the centerfold!

I have been talking a lot about Kara's growth as a photographer, mostly because every month there seems to be some new idea and inspiration about her presentations of the model. This month is no exception in her B&W fanciful photoplay with Selina, and she has a quite exceptional (and such a well known name in many circles, for years) model for her usual Pet of the Month spread in Jocelyn Thorne. Congrats Kara!

The Pornstars' Rack : Three is the Pornfect Number!

Something wicked this way comes! What is it? Oh....well it's the latest issue of...

SL Connoisseur

Magazines come and go all the time in the world of Second Life, so while it's great to celebrate the birth of new projects, it's even a bigger pleasure to me when we get a chance to talk about something that has been there for now a while, and consistently managed to squeeze in month after month a plethora of hot photoshoots, feature models, products, and more importantly, give a chance to the multitalented people from our Sexiest group to shine and step up their game. Happy birthday SL Connoisseur! The party to celebrate this milestone is today Thursday the 4th at 11 PM SLT, with DJ Leannan McCormick!!

This issue obviously brings some fun Halloween vibe! SL Connoisseur always likes to go with the themes. And the theme is well executed in photo first and foremost: as a prime example of what I just said, look at Jewell Infinity's work with the sexy kitten DJIceQueen  . Jewell has been a member of the pornstars community for years: she has been doing lovely blog work, tons of pictorials, she has been involved so many in her work taking part to projects of great importance and service to the adult scene, from the Midnight Sun blog to Studs of Porn. A chance to do magazine work, in the key role of cover/centerfold artist, was something she was ready for and celebrates her talent.

Cover I mention already virtually every issue about the wonderful work done by Kara Hawk, which to me is -the- success story of this latest year of SL Connoisseur. her pictorial with SweetSister Silverstar is again a triumph of creativity, but with the hotness of the model fully highlighted. The Pet of the Month feature thanks to Kara is certainly a shoot that is no ancillary to the main centerfold - as proven also by the great list of models that these 3 years have graced the magazine in that capacity.

But picking MVPs would be an exercise in futility, considering how everyone in SL Connoisseur has shown great determination and a side of their talents that shows how much importance they placed in the task. Osiris LeShelle is again excellent in this issue with her mix of writing and photography in a travel diary in a spooky sim, and the 'newcomer' Avielle Jewell is off to such a promising start: in this issue she doesn't only bring a fashion interview, but also begins a journey in the club scene in SL that I am sure will be full of surprises.

A lot can also be said about Kristina Deschanel and her job, but I do that every month: a lot for this anniversary issue has to be said about Edvard himself and the selection of products that constitutes the backbone of the magazine and the whole raison d'être of it, the 'big picture' that does not overshadow the brilliant work done in his scouting for talents: SL Connoisseur has always been this - the union between Edvard's patented reliability and consistency in his work, and the capacity to adapt to circumstances and deadlines finding the best people for the job in the ever changing scenarios that SL brings.

For our latest instalment of "The pornstars' rack", here we are now, fresh and recharged after the summer break. Oh? We did NOT have a summer break? Well damn, they DO say there is no rest for the wicked!
SL Connoisseur

There is no rest for Edvard Taurion in his blogging activities, could there be any for his magazine SL Connoisseur? Obviously not, and this issue shows all the classic features of the lifestyle publication we have been knowing for almost 3 years. This time with a few notable news and additions to the lineup of a couple or real crown jewels! I am so cringing at how obvious this joke is but just read and tell me how could I refrain from not saying so!

Will 2018 be a fine vintage? Only one way to find out but looks good so far!

Let's start by giving precedence to, obviously, the cover! Arielle Darkstar (Arielle Jewell) has to be the postergirl of this issue, since non only she is casting her dreamy gaze at us from the very first page - and MP page...

....but she also happens to be the newest Fashion Editor of the magazine. I have to praise her interview style, with original questions and a nice natural flow. She did really well and I am sure we'll hear about her again a lot. You may wanna follow also her fashion blog, just saying!

Back to the cover: the artist photographing her is none other than Jewell, yep, Jewell Infinity, a name the members of our group know so well. In her centerfold feature with Arielle you find all the markings of Jewell's praiseworthy work as photographer: a sexy agrestal shoot in the summer haze, managing to keep the model at the centre using the unique blend of nature and architecture to her advantage.

Had she brought that leg ALL the way up, her toes prolly would have gone past the ozone layer and got a lil sunburnt.

And this month as well Kara Hawk managed to excite me with her Pet of the Month shoot! Her assignment this month was a model who is a pretty spectacular photographer herself in Jessica Moonlight. It's a common trait throughout the history of the magazine, to provide with its essential features a focus on so many real gems from the world of erotic photography. Of course, and you know I am closing the article with this as well, some also help themselves by doing things like you know, showing up at the events! Like the gorgeous Cassandra Hastings (alexxyes), a model I always had a soft spot for through the many years we crossed path being in porn.

Oh dear, I am running a bit long now and haven't even touched Osiris LeShelle's location feature, this time in the shape of a road trip through the iris countryside (SL style of course!), the contributions from Edvard himself with his multiple sponsors, and the wonderful Kristina Deschanel's work. Talking about her work as editor who physically layouts and puts together the whole magazine, and that rises to the occasion every singe time during parties taking shots of the various guests. Such an essential role for the magazine's formula.

I would have so loved to ride that bike with Onyx and enjoy the marvellous sight! ...yeah, of her ass,  you got me.
