It's always a tough choice when it comes to start these posts, because...where to start from? Oh, the magazine knows perfectly where to start, and how to end, in a circular structure of sort. It's a well oiled machine that since its very inception almost 3 years ago brings every month to its readers a perfect structure for its goals. A regularity that is a distinctive trait predating the magazine itself when you consider what the name Edvard Taurion grew to represent throughout the years in the world of porn with his blog. One of those ever-present features are sim reports, and it's a particular pleasure to talk about this one here...

Because this time it's about the gem of a sim co-owned and managed by our own Rachel Swallows! Osiris Leshelle, true to her style, organized this article very well, switching flawlessly between the two different subjects of the interview (Rachel and fellow co-owner Sol ) to produce an agile, informative and entertaining piece of work, rich in photos just like Mystic Timbers is incredibly rich in variety. A must read-and-see to anyone who has not been there yet, and some who may have been already and missed some of the latest surprises the sim keep offering.

Of course, what else are you looking for in this magazine if not...how do I euphemize this? Oh right, it's the PORNstar blog so I need no euphemisms! I'll then uh, synech-do it for you ( no i am sure it's not a word). So, tits! ass! pussy! Because yes, there's some real white hot exploticism (explosive eroticism...another word I made up!) in this issue, black and white hot in one case, too. And with some names I have been hearing for years and that thrills me to see featured. I am talking about Tegann Parx and Cally Janus, two bombdacious (no it's not a word either but I think it's effective!) babes who respectively as centerfold for Theia and Pet of the Month for Kara Hawk, really bring the sexiness value off the scale!

SLC througout the years has helped enormously to discover new talent and make people from this community step up their game and measure themselves with all the pressure and expectations that magazine work brings. Its ultimate look and purpose is of course dictated by the core business of its owner, Edvard Taurion, as an important part of the magazine itself is based on product features made in the tried and tested style of his adult furniture review blog, but the magazine provides a lot of value besides the obvious usefulness of the products in the spotlight.

Leannan McCormick is always entertaining and a great DJ. Even when she forgets to plug the console in!

I am disappointed by the lack of any French stereotype I can make fun of!

So let's analyze the last claim: 'new' is self explanatory, this is a new issue! 'Informative' ? Ah, SL Connoisseur since its inception has brought intriguing sim reports for your travels, and without a doubt Osiris Leshelle grants you exciting virtual trips. To France, in this issue. Osiris is one fine travel guide with her talent for capturing shots of photogenic spots: her writing here serves as pleasant and terse introduction to a well conducted interview with a sim owner very passionate about his work, deeply rooted in RL history and geography. And, still on the 'informative' side, let's not forget how SL Connoisseur features a variety of products and interviews with their maker (this month, a treat for Goreans out there!). Not to mention, a pink bear named Eliza. 'Original' ? Check!

Oh yeah, THIS is what I call a hot spread in a magazine!

 Now, 'Hot'? Oh, it's not just because it is the June issue: the hotness is guaranteed surely from the topics covered, featuring some nice kinky finds, but first and foremost by the photography! SL Connoisseur notoriously uses a double (with a third in the mix...more about it later!) centerfold format, with one being the cover girl, and the other being in the 'Pet of the month' spot. The names for both need no introduction for our group members: we are talking about the gorgeous Jewell Infinity and a model truly with a sense of style, Heather Ashford!

Now, as for the issue: the staff of SL Connoisseur delivered another instance of the balanced mix of commercial features made by Edvard in his well tested style that you can read daily on his blog, plus the glam of a lifestyle magazine...an adult one at that! The splendid covergirl Dee aka Dictatorshop embodies this dual soul of the magazine quite well! In another stunner of a pictorial by Theiasky, featuring .

Kara brought the devil out in the angelic Amia! Hmm, you say it did not take a lot? 

The pet of the month spread as well shows that the feature takes no ancillar role to the covergirl spot: it features one of the best known starlettes on the scene in Amia Jordan-Fizzle, and the shoot was executed by Kara Hawk, who is really spreading her wings as photographer. You can tell she conducted it as an original progression that showcases the...dual soul, again, of the model, from nice to so very naughty! Props to everyone involved in the two shoots, that's the kind of pictorial that really benefits from a magazine platform.

Having April Fools and Easter the same day was kinda confusing. Made me kinda cautious about cracking the eggs open. Well, let's now open up the newest issue of...

For this first spring issue, Edvard Taurion's magazine hails a couple of welcome returns from major players of the previous issue, but in different, fresh capacity. When I put in written form my appreciation for the actress and model Kara Hawk, March's centerfold, did give a passing mention of her newfound interest in photography, that really got her on the map in a new light since the beginning of the year. We have here a shining example of these skills in this issue, with a beautiful display of the Pet of the Month for this month, a model that needs no introduction and deserves repeated viewings: Rachel Avro.

In what is a snowy 1st of March in my RL, all I can do is hope for a nice warm spring, and obviously curl up reading a mag! Ok, and writing about a mag. That's less snuggly, but can get squirmy! Especially with one such as...

SL Connoisseur takes partying very seriously, so, let me tell you about it first ! Starting at 11 AM SLT with the incomparable Suff (Leannan Lockjaw) as DJ, the release party of SL Connoisseur is always a good one to hit. Where at? Ah, here!

It's the easiest chance you have to end up in the magazine, and not 'just' because you WILL be in its opening feature, which has been for many issues now a photo report of the previous month's, but also because the porn 'business', is as we keep reminding you, a lot about networking! Often simply showing interest, showing awareness and oh yeah, simply showing up, can truly make the difference.

No preferred dress code, feel free to bring your tiara, lace leggings and fluffy tail if you wish!! 

 I do usually write 'business' between quotation marks talking about the porn scene, but as anyone who follows Edvard's work even just through his blogging knows, the man DOES mean serious business! Some of the designers highlighted by Edvard have a broad and non specifically porny selection of items, but others are as big of a part of the porn community as it gets. I can safely say that one of the most interesting features of the issue is indeed one of commercial nature, being the interview with Stroker Serpentine. If you are following the pornstars group in world, I am sure you have seen the name of Stroker pop up quite often these days, thanks to his investment in pornstar parties and the presence of the Stroker Girlz!

Stroker's presence in the porn community has been a constant since the early, and I mean very very early days of porn in SL - heck, even of sex itself in SL - read the interview on this issue and you'll find out!

In addition to your shopping tips, you can enjoy another quality sim report and lively interview by the fantasystic (see what I did there?) Osiris LeShelle, and sexy pictorials of lovely girls! What would SL Connoisseur be without a centerfold model and the Pet of the Month? The latter is Kay Hemming (Kayleen Avedon), in a photo spread by the real jolly of the team, Kristina Deschanel, who on top of traditional spreads is also always a reliable hand at the camera for party shoots and with the layout job on the whole magazine.

I really like her subtle jewelry and the tats and ....yeah, ok. I know what you are looking at. Pervs.

About the beauty that is the centerfold model, I was delighted to see in yet another quality photoshoot from Theia one of the most active starlettes in porn these days. I am talking about Kara Hawk! Edvard has shown good instincts in the past grabbing models that are really 'trending' (just today you may have seen the announcement of her 'girl of the month' SLC interview as well!), and this delectable blonde is a fine example. Kara is enjoying these days a renewed passion for photography herself after a career as model that saw her star in the past in some of the best work by Isabelle Cheviot: a magazine cover is a fitting celebration of more than just a wonderful start of 2018 for her! I tend to root for performers who go through positive phases and are more active in the business. Err, 'business'! I sure would love to get busy with her! Take a look at the cover again and you see why.

The Pornstars' Rack: Fab Feb !

February, the month of love! And not because it's the shortest one, silly people!

It's because of Valentine's day! One of those festivities that SL loves so much..designers especially! The feature that got my main interest in the issue has been the debut of Osiris Leshelle for a sim spotlight article: photos and interview with the sim owner equally pique interest, in an ideal destination for a romantic - but naughty too, read the details! - mood! Osiris has always been a supporter of the magazine and a lively presence at the parties, on top of being quite easy on the eyes herself, but I digress! Congrats on her journalistic merits displayed in this issue.

Of course of all photos I'd pick the one with the model mostly horizontal...

You know how it goes, Cupid's arrow has a tendency to pierce holes through the wallet, and that's why you need shopping tips. Obviously in this issue of SL Connoisseur you will find some, as expected in a publication coming from Edvard Taurion, who has made a business out of product promotion for years now. You can charm your belle, you can...wrestle her, too? I am not judging you. It's a fun and diverse selection and you'll have to check it out!

They say shiny lights are distracting, but she has a way to keep your eyes on her!

But merchandise aside, SL Connoisseur has a lot of goods on display in this issue! In its established structure, Connoisseur has a centerfold, a pet and a star, and each one is a real feast for the eyes! Theiasky, again photo editor for this month, offers a truly evocatory pictorial of the exquisite Rena Guisse. And then there's Kristina...

I think Valentine's Day got a few seconds closer just by looking at this picture...

Kristina Deschanel, technical editor of the magazine since almost 2 years now, brings a welcome Valentine special photoshoot with the Pet of the month Morana Erin. That's on top of her usual impeccable (and time- critical!) job as photographer for the parties, which opens the magazine and wraps it up sending you off with a big smile thanks to the party star: Sam Glitter is dazzling covered just in hair and tats!

Here's party star .: ℒαȡỵ MФαnα-ϊʂϊʂ :. (moaisis) ! Who's Kristina gonna target at the next party?

These are obviously the words of...well it's signed! What's in the new issue of this new year of SL Connoisseur then? As usual, there's continuity and there's change. Traditions are kept, first and foremost the space given to the magazine's readers and fans. With the monthly release event, happening the first Thursday of the month, SL Connoisseur's parties are the ones that give you a guaranteed spot in the next issue, whether featured in many photos on the very opening segment or, with a full spread as Party star! Kristina Deschanel, (party photographer and technical editor) is awesome like that!

If you woke up with a headache and wearing just panties, you KNOW you had a great NYE!

And then there are sim reports, with Lulu's interview and Cas' photos, and Edvard's coverage of magazine mainstay sponsors, including fashionable skyboxes, the cushion rezzer that lets you be subby or entrench in a pillow fort just about anywhere, statues inspired by Russian literary masterpieces, and more !
