Director Debut! - The Boat House - By Porn Superstar Rachel Swallows!

I am so proud to have the amazingly sexy, talented, and creative Rachel Swallows as a friend. And among our Sexiest® Pornstars ranks too. If you want to know why? You really don't have to look much further than the events of last week as an example. On Saturday i attended the SX Porn Awards 2023. And saw Rachel take home the coveted Best Adult Blogger Award. A handful of days later and i'm in IM with her and getting an amazing preview of her 'Debut' Video The Boat House. Her first ever video production released to our Porn Scene.

I admire Rachel greatly. ( In all kinds of ways! Obviously. ) Her blogging and content leads to the most amazingly stylish fashion, plus of course erotic and porn work of the highest standard. Many work hard to take a picture, and make a nice pose. But Rachel has already created a work of art prior to this part of the process. In numerous stunning avatar looks for her erotic and fashion blogging content. The whole process from the ground up makes her output unique, and the highest quality. Showcasing her eye for style and detail.

With all this in mind. It's not going to come as too much of a shock that her very first video is impressive! Rachel has turned all her talent and creative style towards a polished finished video production. To imagine that things are only going evolve on from The Boat House should be an exciting thought for Second Life Porn fans. I've advised many potential Movie Directors over the years that if you can frame and take a nice photograph in Second Life, you can shoot a great debut movie. The base principles are the same. Shot selection, and framing the scene nicely. Nobody though has proved me more right than Rachel here!

The jump from talented Photographer to capturing wonderful video as seen here might not surprise you. But as an experienced movie maker of over a dozen years, the right pacing, varied shot selection and duration, angles, smooth editing, overall presentation, and sound track selection. Can never be taken for granted. It points to Rachel being an absolute natural as a Movie Director/Editor. And nothing makes me happier as a veteran on the scene as a new Director arriving with so much to offer. Rachel has always been a role model in the Sexiest® Pornstars Group. I hope this video serves as an inspiration to all thinking of taking the plunge and crossing over into movie making and production. It's always a tough choice when it comes to start these posts, because...where to start from? Oh, the magazine knows perfectly where to start, and how to end, in a circular structure of sort. It's a well oiled machine that since its very inception almost 3 years ago brings every month to its readers a perfect structure for its goals. A regularity that is a distinctive trait predating the magazine itself when you consider what the name Edvard Taurion grew to represent throughout the years in the world of porn with his blog. One of those ever-present features are sim reports, and it's a particular pleasure to talk about this one here...

Because this time it's about the gem of a sim co-owned and managed by our own Rachel Swallows! Osiris Leshelle, true to her style, organized this article very well, switching flawlessly between the two different subjects of the interview (Rachel and fellow co-owner Sol ) to produce an agile, informative and entertaining piece of work, rich in photos just like Mystic Timbers is incredibly rich in variety. A must read-and-see to anyone who has not been there yet, and some who may have been already and missed some of the latest surprises the sim keep offering.

Of course, what else are you looking for in this magazine if not...how do I euphemize this? Oh right, it's the PORNstar blog so I need no euphemisms! I'll then uh, synech-do it for you ( no i am sure it's not a word). So, tits! ass! pussy! Because yes, there's some real white hot exploticism (explosive eroticism...another word I made up!) in this issue, black and white hot in one case, too. And with some names I have been hearing for years and that thrills me to see featured. I am talking about Tegann Parx and Cally Janus, two bombdacious (no it's not a word either but I think it's effective!) babes who respectively as centerfold for Theia and Pet of the Month for Kara Hawk, really bring the sexiness value off the scale!

The Pornstars' Rack: Summer won't go away!

Well. sigh, the summer is ending. But in case you have not, it's a good time to start reading...

Another special, star studded issue for SL Connoisseur, the lifestyle magazine born from Edvard Taurion's blogging and promotion experience. After 21 issues, still brings new material: fashion, locations, and various and assorted fun paraphernalia! Trust me, you don't want to get in a pillow fight with him, he has fortifications!

Rachel is no stranger to the centerfold role, and always knows how to dress to impress!

Of course hot girls is what interests the reader of this blog the most...and there's no shortage of those for sure! Starting with the gorgeous cover girl and guest photographer in the issue, Rachel Swallows, and continuing with all the other beauties. Leannan McCormick continues a first class run of contributions to this magazine with a pictorial of a delightful Pet of the Month, Jennifer Jade (Jenluvhewitt). I had a chance to get together with her lately, and this sexy girl (with underrated photographic skills herself, might I add) is one of the examples of the inspired choice the magazine made throught this couple of years for this feature.

Suffy is an expert dj, photographer, and her wirework is not bad either!

And since a few months, Kristina Deschanel, the very capable technical editor of the magazine, has found a space to show off her talents as photographer not just with the party features - which always hold the preminent opening spot in the magazine lineup, making it so worthwhile to attend! - but also with the more in-depth look at the Party Star. Ashley Sugarplum is the stunning beauty that holds that position this month, and this veteran of the SL porn scene is the kind of model that WOWs you at first sight.

Still with all this hotness, I am sure you won't miss the editorial features, including this issue also the debut of Niki Cole (nicolabcole) as fashion interviewer - another debut in the magazine, and another talent that is given a chance to shine from a position of responsability, with a double feature that already shows she is a good fit for the staff of SL Connoisseur. The variety of products and locations will make the read worthwhile.

The Pornstars' Rack: On Fire!

It's a special pleasure for me to talk about this issue of...

Aroused! Magazine



Hey, rather basic opening for the post, but it will be all about substance, much alike the magazine. Hopefully you are familiar with this magazine already! This is the second year of Marika Blaisdale's Aroused, and we are one issue away from 40. Quite a journey it has been!

Soon in a theater near you: 'Dance with Swallows'. Robin Rondini as the hot male lead, no Kevin Costner.

The issue was a little tough to find the balance of. I admit, I feel in retrospect that it's even a 'too' packed issue, with a great amount of talent in it and some of the finest work from those photographers. But I was getting impatient to release it, and after the next issue we are probably going to take a little holiday break for our RL schedules. So, keeping in the storage room some of these sets could lead to an even more crowded midsummer edition.

Yep, that is EXACTLY what happens for every issue. Revision is such  a tough job.

Melina Jameson has 2 photosets in this issue that will be very difficult to top in the next one. One is very special for me, all about Melina's faculty to set up fun scenes and do homages the way both Marika and I enjoy best: in a light hearted (and porny!) way. It was lovely to have models like Kei Frequency, Mellie Criss and Simoni Tigerfish for it !
Now for the second shoot, it's called Dreams come true, and it's all about Melina's artistic skills as an erotic photographer. The quality is stellar, the models Sandra Palletier and Ashlynn Jameson are icons of our porn world and meaningful ones for Melina, and it is the photoset that gave me the hardest time choosing, this issue or the next? Especially because...

Sandra would certainly be a great NSA airport inspector...

....well, because Sandra Palletier was set to be in this issue already, with a -wonderful- set of her own! You have seen in these years of Sandra pictures several encounters of hers with the delicious Delicence, but I think this set from the issue is as good as it can get. Sandra has always been one of the most enthusiastic and consistent contributors to Marika's magazine(s), and I am grateful for this opportunity to feature her once again.

I don't believe I ever featured Nicasio Ansar in three photosets in a single issue, but he had the most captivating models in the duo of Dora Lane and Ziekel and he made my day, week and month by shooting one of the most interesting and beautiful stars of our scene, the ever modish Sandy Miggins. And yeah well, he insisted on taking pics of me too, so whatever, Nica. You win.

No, not making a 'getting wet' joke right now. Later at the party I might, ok?

Now, in my blog posts I try always to give priority to personalities who identify themselves with the porn scene or Sexiest Group in general, so I won't mention a lot about the contribution to the magazine by the trio of friends Aloyssia Hema, Loly Hallison, Marika Djannovic, but their work for Aroused speaks volumes, and I am grateful for their punctuality, committment and helpfulness. Same goes for Erika Madazzhatter, that I am going to mention also for her recent quality work for another really cool mag!

I don't want to make an overlong post about the magazine of my partner, but it was so difficult to pick a cover, even more difficult to not single out every one here for their skillful performance. Rachel Swallows' set is creative magic, Woiven is one of the talents in group that I am enjoying featuring the most these days with her artistic talents and versatility, and Rachel Avro gave this magazine a photoset that can make the sultry model Severina truly proud. Makes ME proud for sure to have been able to feature that!

Okay, somehow I made it to the end of this post, with so much more to say, but I'll settle for this! I need to remind you about to get this thing, right? Marketplace. Issuu. Kiosks.
Also... Aroused! magazine has a presence in world thanks to that Nicasio guy, who set up a gallery for us in his AMAZING, really and seriously amazing sim. Heck, maybe it's not even a good choice to have a gallery there, the sim is so cool it's distracting! Ok well, don't want to oversell it, but I'm trying to be cheeky here and say, that we are going to try and put really cool photos there so you are not tempted to look outside.

We are starting the summer exhibits with the opening party for someone loaded with melanine (must be, to cover that large buttockal area of hers), the Partee girl herself Parthenea! Today at 7-9 PM SLT, with Dj Stacia Reinoir! Wait, what else should we say about it? Oh, well! there will be cool stuff! Ask me about it in-world!

Wanna Flick? Beachin' Around

Movie time! Yes, that's my intro. Moving on...

Ahh, I hadn't covered in a while the whimsical adventures of the cutest couple in SL adult movies, and today I am focusing on the latest from Dillon and its prequel (more than 'prequel', I should say 'the part of the saga I did not make a post about before').

Both taking place as you can see in a lens-flare scorched Surfers' Bay, The Beach 2 and 3 are delightful Production D porn videos that after the suave first episode take the familiar direction of pure divertissment to the sound of all time pop hits. Those hits that just won't leave you alone after a single listening.

As usual, Dillon envisions his movies with himself and his arm candy Carly Mode as protagonists, but ups the porn ante by featuring at least one other pair of warm bodies. It's the case of Carla Draesia and Damien Godard in The Beach 2, and Rachel Avro and Rachel Swallows in The Beach 3.

While the point of attraction of both movies is certainly within Dillon and Carly's actions and extended sex scenes, it's always good to see the effort Dillon puts to involve different actors and enrich with moar sechs and locations the movie. Carly looks always superb in her outfits, as Dillon (but don't tell him).

As I already said, both movies are fun, unique and so full of fun like the earworm tracks they are built upon. With The Beach 2, Dillon jacquestati-es his way through a beach, past uninhibited bathers, ending up with his peen in the mouth of a mermaid, in the second whackiest use of Cher's Shoop Shoop Song I can think of...

And in The Beach 3, they rollick to the tunes of 'My oh My' by Aqua, in a video with much better acting, production value and asses than the original. Ok that is not saying much, I know.

Both movies also make good use of animal co-stars, two out of three uncredited, all of them unharmed (the fireworks were added in post production).  We on the Pornstars blog find only fair to give such gentle innocent creatures due mention.

Besides the choices of fun themes and lighthearted tone, Dillon has perfected a directing style that works wonders with the score. Every actor involved in a Dillon movie is going to have a good time on set, and end up looking good in the actual product, so, by all means, mission accomplished!

There would be a lot more to say about the two movies, from my personal experience on the set, about details like the very creative (and awww so sweet) credits in Beach 2 and the tie-in with the work from the wonderful Carly, but all this post wants to do is to tell you to watch them, give some feedback to Dillon, and hopefully have fun watching at least half much as fun as it was for everyone involved to make them!
