Aroused! Magazine



Hey, rather basic opening for the post, but it will be all about substance, much alike the magazine. Hopefully you are familiar with this magazine already! This is the second year of Marika Blaisdale's Aroused, and we are one issue away from 40. Quite a journey it has been!

Soon in a theater near you: 'Dance with Swallows'. Robin Rondini as the hot male lead, no Kevin Costner.

The issue was a little tough to find the balance of. I admit, I feel in retrospect that it's even a 'too' packed issue, with a great amount of talent in it and some of the finest work from those photographers. But I was getting impatient to release it, and after the next issue we are probably going to take a little holiday break for our RL schedules. So, keeping in the storage room some of these sets could lead to an even more crowded midsummer edition.

Yep, that is EXACTLY what happens for every issue. Revision is such  a tough job.

Melina Jameson has 2 photosets in this issue that will be very difficult to top in the next one. One is very special for me, all about Melina's faculty to set up fun scenes and do homages the way both Marika and I enjoy best: in a light hearted (and porny!) way. It was lovely to have models like Kei Frequency, Mellie Criss and Simoni Tigerfish for it !
Now for the second shoot, it's called Dreams come true, and it's all about Melina's artistic skills as an erotic photographer. The quality is stellar, the models Sandra Palletier and Ashlynn Jameson are icons of our porn world and meaningful ones for Melina, and it is the photoset that gave me the hardest time choosing, this issue or the next? Especially because...

Sandra would certainly be a great NSA airport inspector...

....well, because Sandra Palletier was set to be in this issue already, with a -wonderful- set of her own! You have seen in these years of Sandra pictures several encounters of hers with the delicious Delicence, but I think this set from the issue is as good as it can get. Sandra has always been one of the most enthusiastic and consistent contributors to Marika's magazine(s), and I am grateful for this opportunity to feature her once again.

I don't believe I ever featured Nicasio Ansar in three photosets in a single issue, but he had the most captivating models in the duo of Dora Lane and Ziekel and he made my day, week and month by shooting one of the most interesting and beautiful stars of our scene, the ever modish Sandy Miggins. And yeah well, he insisted on taking pics of me too, so whatever, Nica. You win.

No, not making a 'getting wet' joke right now. Later at the party I might, ok?

Now, in my blog posts I try always to give priority to personalities who identify themselves with the porn scene or Sexiest Group in general, so I won't mention a lot about the contribution to the magazine by the trio of friends Aloyssia Hema, Loly Hallison, Marika Djannovic, but their work for Aroused speaks volumes, and I am grateful for their punctuality, committment and helpfulness. Same goes for Erika Madazzhatter, that I am going to mention also for her recent quality work for another really cool mag!

I don't want to make an overlong post about the magazine of my partner, but it was so difficult to pick a cover, even more difficult to not single out every one here for their skillful performance. Rachel Swallows' set is creative magic, Woiven is one of the talents in group that I am enjoying featuring the most these days with her artistic talents and versatility, and Rachel Avro gave this magazine a photoset that can make the sultry model Severina truly proud. Makes ME proud for sure to have been able to feature that!

Okay, somehow I made it to the end of this post, with so much more to say, but I'll settle for this! I need to remind you about to get this thing, right? Marketplace. Issuu. Kiosks.
Also... Aroused! magazine has a presence in world thanks to that Nicasio guy, who set up a gallery for us in his AMAZING, really and seriously amazing sim. Heck, maybe it's not even a good choice to have a gallery there, the sim is so cool it's distracting! Ok well, don't want to oversell it, but I'm trying to be cheeky here and say, that we are going to try and put really cool photos there so you are not tempted to look outside.

You know, PJ homages Aroused in this set with B.E.N. and Sasquatch...oh, can't see it? Take a look at the whole set!

We are starting the summer exhibits with the opening party for someone loaded with melanine (must be, to cover that large buttockal area of hers), the Partee girl herself Parthenea! Today at 7-9 PM SLT, with Dj Stacia Reinoir! Wait, what else should we say about it? Oh, well! there will be cool stuff! Ask me about it in-world!

Wanna Flick? Dirty Work

Today, a tale of a silken kitty and a busy bee or two!

In this post, I am covering the two latest movies by the gorgeous Racheal Rexen. A name no stranger to this blog and especially recurring these days. She increased her active contribution to SL Connoisseur, and to her already impressive resumé of photographer (red carpet too...), actress and of course model (check out Brit-x's current issue!) she can add with legitimacy the fancy title of 'Director'. You can read about her debut movie here, in the interview she kindly gave back in January at the eve of the release of the second movie, with Chris.

'Working Girls' has the larger cast of the two and the more involved plot and range of situations and locations. Racheal stars as a, well, yes, let's use the euphemism here, girl working on the street: she is seen in action with a cowhorer, err , coworker, the bonny Brunella Voelisa, as they service a customer played by the man we are getting to know better this day as 'Dag', GideaNinja Dagger, whom we recently followed surfing (and more).

After this opening act (no pun intended!), Racheal gets a business call. "When Sev wants some excitement, She calls for a working girl, Larry soon joins in on the fun".

And there we have our porn action: no need for me to wax lyricals about Larry Vinaver in another starring role. He played all sorts of husbands and partners, sometimes even in non-sexual roles, and all with the same level of professionalism, so it's good to see him getting it on in a hot threesome here!

Already admired in more than a movie from Dog Star and other roles, Sev (Lanisonia Resident) gets to be showcased in her beauty again in the lenghtier part, but Brunie and Dag in their intro remind us once more of the deep talent pool the world of Second Life porn can rely on. Nice display from everyone, with appropriate looks and all the locations serving their purpose.

Although Sev really should put less strenght into picking up the receiver next time.

A simpler concept but a funny one is at the base of 'Dirty Bish': "When Chris C and Racheal Rexen go to the laundromat, you know their clothes are coming off".

Slightly more complex than the synopsys actually would tell, 'Dirty Bish' does egregiously its job of showing the merciless tease the poor Chris C goes through...No matter how busy he is these days being an official photographer for Isabelle Cheviot's blog, you just can't get used to hot ladies teasing you like this!

Both movies, while retaining the simplicity that Racheal pointed out in her interview as very important, manage to incorporate typical editing 'tricks' you have seen in movies from more consummate professionals, such as the clothes fading out to show the strip down, and, of course, care about showing sex in the best possible way with next to no clipping.

 And wow, the details, too.

Both movies are a hot view with good and not so obvious casting choices, plenty of hardcore filmed already with great competence, and, characteristic I personally adore, they are obviously made by someone who knows how to put some fun into porn, from the face expression interaction in 'Dirty Bish', to the full-on 'crazy credits' moment in 'Working Girls'.

Wanna Flick? Requiem for a Requiem

Of all the possible movies I could cover today, with a few rather interesting new releases (one of which sees also my personal involvement in, yum yum), I choose to speak about one from a filmaker I have not featured in a while. This one is , or should I say 'was' because it sounds kinda ominous otherwise, Isabelle Cheviot's Requiem.

2. A hymn, composition, or service for the dead.

Since Isabelle is almost as much of a devout and fervent believer as I am, and her experiences with church and Romans are not really orthodox, I am really glad to tell that officially the title is not to be taken literally. In fact, of all movies of Isa that I have not covered on the blog (yet), this was the one that I truly wanted to get off my chest as a sort of liberation, once I would be certain that the break from filming of the workaholic Dog Star Productions director was coming to an end.
Had this been Isa's farewell movie, it would have been an examplary testament to what she obviously tries to bring to the porn world in terms of narrative (it's not an accident that this is part of her 'Bedtime stories' series, telling 'as much of a narrative as a short porn movie should contain.' to quote her) and character focus. But this was never meant to be a real farewell, just a dirge from separation anxiety.

Dog Star does an impeccable job of blogging their releases, and in fact it would deserve a separate story, the breakdown of how they have grown immensely in the blogging department showcasing almost daily new talents with their original interviews and pictorials. The presentation of this movie went like this.

"On a world with a dying sun..."

So begins Requiem, a film I shot with Severina and Jon Demen, and the last I will be releasing in the near future. My attempt here is to set a mood of sorrow and loss while at the same time making the sex hot - I feel like I've come close to capturing what I wanted. I hope you enjoy this film. It's a bit out of the norm for me, a little artsier perhaps but one that I'm proud of.

The sober prelude sets the movie in a timeless space, sort of an end of times where (when...) past and future become meaningless, and you can only live the here and now. Two women and one man meet, and that's the only thing that matters. What you see in the screencaps, is all that matters, and I need to add nothing more. (But i still will before I tell you 'watch the movie after the jump, because...hey, I have more cumshots and titty and ass pics to post!)

I am not trying to be philosophical for the sake of playing reviewer here: there is something innately powerful about the thought of sex on the brink of annhilation. Far from being joyless, the sex between the three protagonists in in true Dog Star tradition perfectly filmed: some pics here are actually screenshots from Sword Swallowing vol. 4, Isa's compilation of, well, fellatios, one of the many little ways that she found to keep the fans entertained and well aware of Dog Star's presence while she weathered the RL storms getting back on track to be ready to proper filming again.

Also far far from beign artsy for the sake of it is the scenery, which truly exhalts the hot looks of all three. SL has tons of shnazzy if slightly apocalyptic windlights, and the one used here by Isa is a perfect fit. The movie gives a true chance to shine to relatively new additions to porn Severina ( lanisonia ) and Jon Demen (another hot guy debuting in movies with Dog Star!), and is one further reminder that it's great to have Isa behind the camera, but heck, she definitely belongs in front of it too!

Enough screencaps and such, it's just time to watch the movie and enjoy!
