Like many other things in the ever-changing metaverse, the world of SL adult magazines is quite fluid. April opened with the news, quite shocking for most, of the final issue of one historic publication in SL, Busted Magazine. We'll have of course a chance to talk about it. For one magazine that goes, though, two seem to take their place.
Yes, we definitely possibly maybe will have to cover in the next month at least three new mags (and counting), all with their roots in the 'porn' world. If not by theme, it's because of the names of the talented people who contribute to them. Quite an amazing density, if you consider the numbers of the community.

Populated as it is with sexy and talented people such as Seddy, of course!

In this magmatic scenario, it is of course extremely important for each magazine that wants to go past being purely a vanity project to find its ground and give readers something unique. And SL Connoisseur in the person of its publisher and owner Edvard Taurion strives to do exactly that, by providing material fully exclusive to the magazine, photo productions that you won't see in other publications, with their staff photographers showing full commitment to the product and to the magazine readers. You won't have the same menu as other magazines with Connoisseur, certainly not made by the same cooks!

But what IS on the menu this month? Well, the interest of us readers on the Sexiest Blog is of course on the hot scantily clad girls, and what possible best choice than our blog editor herself Serenity Kristan-Faulds? Cream Release's centerfolds, like any great centerfold, have always been the "Woah, gonna get this mag and check this out!" type of photoshoot, and Sere is the type of bodaceous babe that seems engineered exactly to be on the pages of gentlemen's mags.

But you know Connoisseur by now, and you know that there's more than the eyecatching cover girl in it. In fact, the Pet of the Month for this issue is none other than the celebrated artist Laura Demonista, shot in her magazine debut by Onisa Lundquist. Laura who is scheduled to grace the pages of the magazine with much more than a one-shot modeling gig, as she will employ her multi-awarded photography skills in conjunction with all the wit and imagination she is known to pour in the written word as well, starting next month.

Ed interviewing yet another of the most popular furniture makers on the scene.

SL Connoisseur from its inception has been 'a magazine to read', and that's logical considering the background and experience of its founder. I am just gonna mention the name of 'our own' Seddy Constantine as one of the featured designers, but you know that thanks to Edvard's direct involvement in addition with the final contributions by Isle, Athena, Whims, Racheal, you'll see another issue full of content.



And the new staffers Melina Levee and Kristina Deschanel, also Executive Technical Editor of the magazine, are going to bring a fresh perspective and, as Edvard wrote in the foreword 'stories and interviews with much more depth and quality'. Check out SL Connoisseur, in-world, in any of the many kiosks (here for instance!) , through the message history of the group, asking Ed directly (he loves feedback and also refers communication with the readers as one of the driving forces behind every issue) and enjoy!

"Together with my zealous staff, we did our best to follow your feed-back requests. I will take this opportunity to thank you for contacting us, and encourage you to keep doing that in the future. We are here for you, and we want to make a magazine that you like to read."

That's part of the opening statement from the owner of the magazine Edvard Taurion, wishing everyone cheerful festivities in the month of St. Patrick's day and of course, Easter. Words simple enough, but not simply words when you look back at the growth of this young magazine from one issue to the next.



Everyone deserves a praise for this magazine, including the person who waters the plants!

A steady growth that sees the magazine showcase more and more quality content creators, from the traditional adult animation and furniture designers that are the bread and butter of Edvard Taurion' SL business, to the quality home and decor designers and clothing makers attracted to the magazine by its definite 'mainstream' appeal that trascends 'porn'. "We want to reach all parts of SL", the Executive Editor of the magazine Athena told me, and since she didn't follow that statement with improper fondling of my private ones, I think she really meant the potential audience!

There's probably a joke in there to be made about Irishmen and policemen, but fill in the blanks yourselves!

And that's without mentioning the location reports that have been prominently featured in the past issues already, and that in this new instance of the magazine see the addition in the staff of the very well known Isle Biedermann, who doesn't spend his day just taking pictures of a famous mulberry coloured club, but displays his talent outdoors, in a photoset just perfect for st. Paddy.

Tisha Carfield is one of the lovely group members who dress up for Ed in Partee's fashion shoot!

I know that of course the readers of the Pornstars blog are not here to watch the grass grow, but magazines like SL Connoisseur are a perfect vehicle for you to see your raunchy photographers and super-sexy models (and you know how often the two aspects overlap) putting their skills and passions to fruition for other aspects of SL than sex. In this issue, you'll get to see guest modeling in fashion shoots and location shots Lacey Nora, Sandy Miggins, Tisha Carlfield, Jon Demen, you'll read interviews by the already mentioned Edvard and Isle, the always hard working editor Athena, and fashion from Michaela Vixen and last month's centerfold Parthenea.

Candy Kane aka Candygurlx is the monthly Pet, brought to you by Racheal!

And I am saving pretty much the best for last, because yep there certainly is tits for you to gawk in this issue!

The spectacular centerfold by Cream Release is here too, and you must get a copy of the magazine to admire Ali Lancrae in all her glory. Likewise, the Whimsical Fantasies continue, with the lovely Aristocrat herself and her partner Fiona Hildrum. Saving the last mention of the post for the trump card of this issue Racheal Rexen, who contributed with an interview, complemented with her photography at least 3 interview sets, and was also of 'Pet of the month' duty photographing the porn starlet Candy Kane!
Great job for one hard working lady, but a beautiful coral effort for the Connoisseur team!

Again party photos? Well, it's not my fault, if you keep having parties all week long! Look Out For... Margarita Blanco

I admit, I just love the fun side of porn, and to me there is nothing more fun than a good sex-up of our passions and lives. Like being a dr. Who fan and posing in a Tardis!

Margarita 'Margie' Blanco is a relative newcomer to porn: her look is original and with a girl-next-door charm, and her flickr has accumulated plenty of pics because she obviously loves to snap them, and you can find a lot of raw sexuality and good hearted fun in those. I really appreciate her work: while it might not set new standards in photography as it stands, it manages to bring to the open a genuine sentiment of enjoyment and fun that should be what living a sex/porn life here is about.

She's a pretty model and very easy to work with, anyway. You have seen her in her sets by Isle Biedermann and Mack III, but to open this post, look at her by Bill Riker, and the closing pic is by Tommi Waydelich. Enjoy now!
