It's a full fledged Valentine issue, all hearts and cupids and cuteness! How else could have been, though. It's SL and there's no room for a Grinch on xmas, or for hatin' on the couples on V-day! And this issue does everything to be likeable, starting with that cheeky intro by Ed...

" We have given you the best from fashion, fun and interesting locations, to the world of adult furniture and buildings, as well as our hot Centerfold and even two Pet's of the Month for February.

Laura Richards is such a workaholic, with her photography and writing and...well, check out this issue!

For sure this is the biggest news about the magazine. There is a new Executive Photography Editor in this issue, and it's a name pleasantly familiar to those who have been following porn and these pages in particular. Eva Brunswick is the covergirl and centerfold of this issue, and her debut in the role upholds the very high standard the magazine had from its inception thanks to the talents of Cream.

Pet of the month n°1, Murderdolls24 (or 29, I am losing count!)

Eva needs no presentation, but neither do the other new and exciting contributors, showcasing their talents as photographers as well as their beauties. Who are the two new Editors of the issue? One is the long term pornstars from Crimea, Murderdolls: I had the chance to work with her in the past and her enthusiasm and positive attitude make me look forward to see her in this new role. Her photography in this shoot captures quite well her trademark ritzy styling.

Don't look at the bear, I haven't hidden any camera in its left eye, what are you talking about?

The other Pet of the month is someone I'd happily take as my pet, or pet her all day (and night) long and...well, ok this is a rather creepy way to look at it, I apologize! But I do unapologetically love Cheryl Reddevil's look and photography, and I am thrilled to see her being part of the SL Connoisseur team with one exclusive shoot.

With a cupid like Kayla, keeping focused on your date might be extra difficult!

As it happens with any team united for a common goal especially in SL, there are times when RL and various committments take over, and this marks the last issue with Kayla Bombastic's travel diaries. It's sad for me to report it, and she gets to give a heartfelt goodbye in her last piece. Kayla, who already matured magazine experience before showing a knack for organization and writing, has been a contributor for 6 issues of the mag and filled in big shoes for a very important role, and passes the torch already in this issue to Danielle Mannequin.

 As we many times pointed out, SL Connoisseur is built from the experience of a SL businessman, aka Edvard Taurion. The magazine does its duty of showcasing fashion thanks to Onisa Lundquist's features and Edvard's interviews, supported by Kristina Deschanel's photography and magazine editing skills.

Party people of the new year! Will you bring your Valentine to the new party?

Happy New Year, and happy reading (and perving) those SL magazines! As usual, I am happy to bring with the kind collaboration of mr. Taurion a quick summary of...

It's a new year, SL is taking in the new Bento craze as we already ran out of the new prims for our lands, and seems we are in to stay! Many new magazines will appear this new year, but I am truly delighted to see the ones established in the past still thrive and find new motivations to go on with their business and put together month after month new material. It's the case of course of SL Connoisseur.

Marcus is a name truly familiar to the porn partygoers: look the magazine up for more, surprising featured designers!

The journey of SL Connoisseur continues with its core of well motivated staffers who turn in every month some really noteworthy photography work.
The editorial aspect of the magazine is always interesting. It features Edvard Taurion's famous reviews in new and expanded format. This issue delves further into the house department, which will be a permanent added focus. It's the latest example to how this magazine takes steps to better capture the interest and desire expressed by readers. It also brings an encounter with a personality such as Marcus Perry (who is also a first class director for those who may have missed out his work), plus Onisa Lundquist's fashion interviews

This sensual tale with Laura and Sev will make you wish it was Xmas everyday!

Almost every mention of the content of the magazine has to include the first rate pictorials by Cream Release. No matter how scarce her time in SL and pressing her commitments in RL have been, Cream always delivered the most gorgeous photospreds with the high profile members of the adult community featured each month. This month being the turn of a very underrated model and a true pioneer of creative photography, working magic with bodies and faces long before bento or even mesh came around. I am talking of course of Dokie!
And it's always a must to mention the 'gran finale' of every issue. This month with Laura Demonista's pictorial doubling up on sexiness thanks to the inclusion of Severina (Lanisonia), more than just a dancing partner in the highly acclaimed Debauche dance troupe.

When you see a Temp send a photospread like this, you can't help but hire her!

The Pet of the Month photo spread this time is the debuting work of one notable member of our community who has been making an impact lately with her modeling (and some of you also had the chance to appreciate her dj skills!): I am talking about TemptedPassion aka Temp, who is killin' it with her excellent photography.
And well, I lauded many times already Kayla Bombastic's wordsmithing, managing to be both descriptive and imaginific in the reports. The same goes for her photography, capturing many slices of the sim of choice for the month, but adding in the amusement. And in the issue she takes Johnny for a ride...a dangerous one!

You will find Kayla in the next issue...The doctor didn't put her or Johnny in a cast.

SL Connoisseur throws some pretty fun parties each time, and since a few issues it has been showcasing the fans attending them, thanks also to the impeccable photography by Kristina Deschanel, again in this issue providing support photos and the editing work for pagination of this mag.

Oh man, the whole idea that Xmas is coming is so unsettling to me! But it is, and we have magazines to prove it. Such as...

SL Connoisseur

You have to appreciate the amount of work that goes into making a magazine in SL. There's the planning and organization, especially for magazines like this who need a great degree of collaboration and help promote business. There's the photo aspect, and the writing. And then, you need to make everything fit in a magazine! It doesn't exactly happen by itself!

The SL Connoisseur release parties get increasingly popular: put your sexiest outfit on and get in a paparazzi shot!

That's why the work of an 'Executive Technical Editor', as they chose to call it here, is essential, and ever since her debut in the April issue, Kristina Deschanel has been a vital part of the magazine. She gets 'the Cream Release treatment' in this issue, and what else can se say about it? She is a gorgeous Santa in the centerfold and cover, and Cream always does beautifully.

Congratulations to Jinx Beverly for a beautiful display as Pet of the Month!

Kristina's contribution to this issue is even bigger than usual, actually. On top of the technical editor task and the party photos that open on a joyous note this issue like the previous and a precious work providing photography for Edvard Taurion's interview with one of the top furniture designers in SL ( I hope you took advantage of her huge Thanksgiving sale last week...) , Kristina also is the photographer for the Pet of the month centerfol!

"My kingdom for a horse" , Richard III said. Sure, let him have the horse, I'd rather have Kayla!

High praise for Kristina then, who didn't just rest on her laurels (well, or mistletoes) and put in the extra work for the issue, but the whole staff of Edvard's magazine without a doubt is a highly committed and determined bunch, providing content exclusive to SL Connoisseur on a monthly basis. So, besides Edvard himself with an interview and feature, we have Kayla Bombastic reporting from la "Maison d'Amitie", with her splendid photography well on display together with her fluid and charming writing.
We have Laura Demonista's contribution with her keen photographic eye and way with words. We have another girl who distinguished herself for multiple features in the past issues, Onisa Lundquist, appearing here with another interview.

With Laura Richards closing the magazine, you always wonder which is more erotic, her words or her pics!

And Onisa will be your dj for the now customary release party cum raffle that SL Connoisseur throws at KL. I don't need to say anything more about it, do I? Phew, we just recovered from all the spooky Halloween stuff. And no, despite what might be going on at your local mall, it's NOT time yet for xmas decorations! No no no! It is time though , for the newest issue of

SL Connoisseur

Month after month, the creation of Edvard Taurion, SL Connoisseur, strives to bring you exclusive and original content. Beginning with a first rate cover, this month featuring one of the most creative pornstars in the business, someone who has achieved a lot in so many different fields. Including a trademark look that makes her recognizable at first glance. She's of course Ayara Illios.

Laura always brings a lovely contribution to the magazine with her prose, and with her trademark photography.

The indefatigable Onisa Lundquist provides photos for this interview and does more of her own.

Equally important is once more the contribution of Kayla Bombastic. For every assignement she gets in each issue you can rest assured she will not just make a simple recount and list of the relevant spots of the locations. Her reports are written with personality and talent: you'll find two in this issue, different in style. One is a 'diary' of her experience that is unique and fetching, and the other features a pleasant interview with the creator. I leave you the pleasure to find out who is on this issue, I'll just say that one of these sims in its first incarnation was the first place I ever took pictures of myself in !

Wake me up when September ends. Actually, a little earlier, I have a party to go to. The one for the anniversary of...

One year of SL Connoisseur! It's great to see publications make it that far, because in Second life, a year is A FRIGGING LIFETIME! And as the founder, owner, publisher of the mag Edvard Taurion says in his intro, "It was a long and bumpy road, but also full of so much fun and surprises. I am glad we all made it". 
Speaking of someone who looks like they have been through a long and bumpy road...One year of Connoisseur means also a year of memorable centerfold shoot by the wonderful Cream Release.

And a year of interviews and more!

You know, in one year of coverage of this magazine, never once (well, except the time when I had the honor to be on the cover myself) I had the chance to know in advance who the pin-up for the coming issue was going to be.
This time I thought I had a bit of juicy gossip when chatting with Cream she told me that the cover girl of this month was "a pain in the butt to work with". Well...duhhhh. You fooled me, Cream!
I should have known better. The staff of this magazine, beginning with the committment they take when they accept to have their work exclusive to SL Connoisseur, have shown absolute diligence, dedication to their work and professionalism. Credit to Ed for shaping his magazine this way.

...Also a year of  erotic stories. Laura brings her debaucherous sensuality and  the punchline of this issue is hers again.

But first and foremost credit to the staff members, who again did beautifully this month, for their thickest, most polished and well thought out issue to day. As it always should, the next issue being better than the previous! This issue brings us more of the active contribution from Onisa Lundquist, who does the photography for Edvard's interview, plus interviews and shoots with other 2 designers (including one of my favourite jewelry stores, damn!!), not to mention the 'Pet of the Month' spread, this month with a beauty out of this world, Monique LeFry!

Sideboob, 3/4 arse, high heels, and Pluto in Pisces. Yes, I think I stargazed enough today.

The latest addition to the team this issue is Court Faith, a name you read A LOT in the porn world lately. Nobody is as active as she is now with her photography. In this issue she interviews and photographs a content creator very familiar to our readers as well as a group member and already covergirl in a past issue of Busted, Akira Kira.

Fashion designers, sim owners and obviously furniture creators on this issue. 13 issues of original content!

And SL Connoisseur doubles on the erotic stories this time AND on the Cream, because together with Laura Richards' contribution with a story perfect for this issue that leads to Halloween, we also are treated with erotica featuring Cream herself and one of the cutest models on the scene, the lovely Lara Dieterle.

Speaking of the Halloween mood and binary occurences, Kayla Bombastic for this second appearance on the mag shows us as well a great pair. No, you pervs, I mean the location reports SL Connoisseur has brought us from day one and that the Bombastic one has debuted covering in the previous issue. The dramatization of her visit to Ironwood Hills is a great read even for those who already know the sim by heart. Which you won't anyway, since it's an ever-changing one , that Kayla's narration will compel you to visit again, trace her steps, or make it your own experience!

Finally, a mention to Kristina Deschanel's work putting all the pieces together as the Technical Editor of the mag. Over 200 pages not easy to compile, and with a presentation that gets slicker - really pleasant splash pages presenting most articles this month, I really liked it. Plus, she happens to do the party photos that open the issue, which is a bonus since she got some reaaaaally nice action shots...

The Pornstars' Rack: September When It Comes

Sigh, the summer is almost gone. But hey, on the upside, a new batch of hot magazine issues arrives! Such as...

SL Connoisseur



SL Connoisseur in the person of its owner mr. Edvard Taurion is always the most swift to provide to the Sexiest Pornstars blog (in the person of, well, lazy me!) the material for a blog post, and here we go. Following the appearance in August of our founder and patron saint Emmanuelle Jameson, a new issue with on the cover none other than the group party planner and dj of hundreds and hundreds of gigs at numerous clubs in our party circuit, Moonie. Needless to say, in a stylish pictorial by Cream Release.
From the technical editor Kristina Deschanel (relatively obscure but pivotal role, in the engine room of the magazine so to speak), to the interviewers and photographers, to the well established and highly followed on flickr Laura Demonista and the centerfold and cover artist Cream herself, the staff of this magazine approaches its first anniversary with the usual commitment and focus, operating as a unity for their larger issue to this date.

Trepass to land, or trespass to goods? To goods, I'd say....just check out Laura's story !

I mentioned under the umbrella name of "interviewers of photographers" what constitutes the bulk of this magazine, as per their tradition, but they deserve individual, in-detail mention. I mention first Edvard himself, as the interview he did with animation and furniture designer RohanaRaven is so fresh, mixing amiable garrulity with rather profound considerations. Such an entertaining read! But it's just the preamble for Beccha and her amphibian trip to Sea of Aquabelliza, Onisa Lundquist in two interviews with fashion designers, and the bombastic Kayla in a very detailed feature about the work of the very talented Nicasio Ansar. I could go off on a tangent here and start praising the mad skillz of this guy that you have already seen portraying countless erotic models and even starring in some of the movies from our porn community, most likely without knowing at all his talent as a sim architect...

...but I won't (she said, after doing so), and instead simply focus on the interviewER. I had the pleasure to follow closely in person the 'on field' work of Kayla Bombastic about this feature, admire her approach and her extremely pleasant conversational style of interview, and precision in the final rendition of it. Myself and the muse of some of Nicasio's most remarkable intuitions , Kei Frequency, are also featured in this interview, as the guy always discreetly tilts the spotlight away from himself. Thanks to Kayla and her photography that complements the interview itself and the journal of her individual exploration, the spotlight is ultimately all on the two sims described, as it should be.

Anyway, we're on the Pornstars blog, what's the status on tits and ass thing, Kat? Yes , yes! SL Connoisseur can tease you with the sexy girls and will! Not only with the rawking hawt Moonie, but also with gte lovely Tammyjones, taking the role of Pet of the Month in a shoot by Onisa, and not enough praise has been levied for Laura Richards' work, in one story with an especially raunchy crescendo!

This week...month...something....in challenges!

We love to give coverage to every and any initiative aimed at the crowd of passionate photographers, filmakers, artists who make up so much of our active community. I admit my limits and tell you that I am a rather poor 'hunter' of opportunities not being on Flickr a lot, so I will suggest to please, share your findings on the in-world pornstars group or just IM me, Katina Cazalet, in world, especially if you are unsure about the appropriateness of the entry.

I appreciate the work done by our own Jadelyn McAuley relaying us the information about the "Fun in the Sun" photo hunt. From the blog post about it by one of the sponsors (the other being our favourite US-time party venue Hard Alley Social Club )

What is the idea behind a photo hunt and how does it work? The idea is you pick a sim, and all contest entry photos must be taken on whatever Sim was chosen. For our very first photo hunt we will be using Vice Beach. You are welcome to use the entire sim is not just limited to the beach area.

Rules in short? Take a photo at the Stroker Toyz sim, submit it at this flickr group here before the 18th of the month, the photo must have NO EDIT work done except cropping, that's the biggest challenge! This is a wonderful opportunity for every aspiring photographer and for the more established ones as well, with a solid 10'000 L$ grand prize, and other equally impressive gifts. Be creative!

In the nawties department as well, I am also giving a shoutout for Bibble Sugartooth's group, 'Bibi's Photo Contest'.
