These are the introductory words from the publisher Rosa Rhiadra, coming from an issue I really enjoyed. Pro*vocative is a magazine made by active members of our adult artist community, but that clearly aims at a much wider audience. Not disappointing in this issue as well, with the usual impeccable editorial and photographic work by the fashion editor Partee, and by the contribution of the other Senior editor Ali Lancrae.

Ali knows how to shoot sexy models, but in Pro*vocative often shows also her talent for landscape photography.

Ali not only brought to the issue yet another very inspired overview of a splendid photography spot in Evergreen Nook, but also an interview with one of the most beloved and popular stars of our scene in Adele Simondsen. It's very easy for me to spend superlatives about the girl, but I am sure that as you'll check out the glamourous photography of Texas Rob McRae and read the usual, sincere positivity that Adele's words tend to radiate, you'll have to agree that it's one high note to close the issue on.
An issue that opened once again with an outstanding cover, from the featured artist of the month....

Yes, Pro*vocative had distinguished itself these months for the great quality of their covers, by some of the finest talents around. And this time, this talent happens to be one woman who needs no introduction, but needs you to read the issue, and her interview by Rosa.
This time she is the one being interviewed (I still remember her deliciously spicy shoot/interview she conducted last year for Thanskgiving), and I am gonna cut it short because there's nothing I can add at this point for this multiple Sexiest Award winner and nominee whose work has been picked already more than once on the SL webpage as Pic of the Day.

A little unusual formula for my normal episode of the pornstars' (magazine) rack, but Pro*vocative held a great party for a very special occasion, so I might as well slap a Hello! Pornstars logo here.... Talisker Braveheart took a series of lovely pictures of the event!

I am sure you recognize Pro*vocative senior editor Partee...and well, if you recognize the other senior editor Ali Lancrae in what is probably the most original Halloween costume of the season, props to you. Before I go on with the party pictures, I'm going to take a little time to post a pic by Partee that opens the issue, with a more classic look for all the staff members included even in full Halloween swing, and then simply use this chance to wish this Avi choice nominated publication a great run for years to come.

Pro*vocative is one of the most complete magazines out there, mantained by some of the most hardworking and popular members of the Sexiest® Pornstars group. It's provocative as its namesake suggests of course, but also informative (which would make a really boring magazine name, i know), thanks to the always punctual fashion reports by Partee, location shots and interviews by Ali, and all the extra features brought by Rosa's interviews, with supporting photography by the other staffers like Spirit Eleonara.



This issue brings as special treat a little 'Where are they now?"-sort of feature, showing the monthly featured artists from the past months, and a pornstar icon brought to you by another one of the Sexiest® people around, who manages to sneak into yet another magazine issue, and by virtue of her own work: Rachel Avro interviews Miss Emily. Enjoy some more party action - ah by this week I swear I am done with all these - and we are so looking forward to see the next issue!

The summer is over, but I have good news for you, here on ....

It's time to be back to school!
Wait, what? Why is that good news? I know that might sound surprising, especially if you have celebrated already enough birthdays to make the candles cost more than the cake itself, but it IS good news, because Pro*vocative came out and brought us a super-sexy Back To School special!

Back to school: Gaea, Spirit, Keeley, Addy Summerwind, Ali Lancrae, Partee and Rosa

These themed shoots are a highlight of the magazine, after the lovely bikini blitz spread from last month, and you'll get to see plenty of beauties in one of the most popular setting for kinky shoots. And those beauties are of course the sexy staff of Pro*vocative, who once more put together a magazine good to watch and intriguing to read. Ok, don't worry, you won't see Rob or Ed in a skimpy schoolgirl outfit... You will see their new producer Gaea Oakleaf-Danick, though!

During the summer holidays, sometimes SL activities take a little break as well: but , much to the satisfaction of you readers, that's not true for most of the magazines we cover! Even if, after Brit-X last time, here I am again covering a magazine who came out regularly as scheduled, but took a while to come out with the bloggable goods. I am talking about Rosalee Rhiadra's award nominated Pro*vocative!

The cover is brought to you by long time blog favourite Ally Oompa (Jill Black), continuing Pro*vocative's tradition to open with a display of crystalline photographic talents, interviewed by Rosa in a showcase that gives you a little taste of the range and quality of the artist. But the regular team of the magazine keeps the quality of the product high, thanks to the series of running features you all like and love.
And so we have Ali Lancrae's report from yet another panoramic location, the invualuable contributions from a very thankful and a little emotional Edvard Taurion, Partee's funtastic fashion report and one of my favourites recurring features: a close encounter with a sexy male model - this time a very well known name in porn, mr. Jamezz T. Doulton, interviewed by Rosa and photographed by the always professional Addy Summerwind.

I mentioned Partee earlier: not only the curvy blonde fairy has provided the photo and logistics for the usual fashion column, but hers is also a splendid initiative very much in tune with the season: a 'Bikini Blitz' with a dozen (!) of hot models (plus me) wearing outfits from different designers. I was privileged enough to be part of this initiative, a real 'swimsuit special' for the magazine, and as I keep saying, Partee is one impressive gal, behind her bubbly exterior (that includes her patented bubble butt of course). The models? Adele Simondsen, Alexandria Topaz, Ali Lancrae, Bree Greycloud, Cindy Starostin, Domino Dupre, Envy Watts, Mandylovesyou, Partee, Rachel Avro, Zoey Winsmore, Zaria Velde. Enough for you?

It happens at parties too. Adele NEVER gets to wear a bikini for long! Look at her almost busting out of this!

Pro*vocative came out this month thanks to the excellent work from members of our porn community, with their look at more 'mainstream' artists, panoramic sims, fashion. As usual, it's a testament to the skills and taste of those responsible to put together this magazine that aims to deal with arts and lifestyle using style and class, yet from the perspective of certified adult stars and nawty minds.

From the photo work of Ali Lancrae with beautiful girls riding big and exciting shiny things (and looking ready to pump it back up if they get a flat), and sim-sighting, to the always exciting fashion reports by Partee (this time hooked up with none other than Tara Asamoah), to the first rate photography (this time also with a patriotic view) by Addy Summerwind and Spirit Eleonara, everyone does a marvellous job putting together a complete magazine experience. That of course including Rosa and her interviews and editorial choices, placing also together a great selection of photos from the readers.

I haven't mentioned yet a true cornerstone of the magazine and of the adult entertainmente community at large, and that one is, of course, Edvard Taurion. On Pro*vocative i read first about the unfortunate facts of life that led a massive rallying in his support from his friends, and again, you could say the whole community and beyond, considering the generous contribution from top rate furniture designers. This issue of Pro*vocative, which contains also one of Edvard's patented interviews, begins with a tasteful poem, and that is how I'd like to close the post.

Of course reminding you also the URL of the online version of Pro*vocative, also embedded in the blog , and reminding you of the parties for Ed's fundraiser, closing today with a 11 AM to 1 PM party with DJ Zoey, and 9 PM to 11 PM party with DJ Moonie.

Pro*vocative is back as scheduled this June as well, starting from the wonderful cover by Patterson Core, you know you are in for a quality issue. I'd have a dirty joke about this cover, but it's in Italian, so i'll just keep you guessing!

The photography is consistently good, of course, but I can't stress enough how the writing theme of the magazine does a magnificent job in every issue. Beginning with Rosa's interview with the cover artist, followed by Edvard Taurion's interview with Viara Jewell. One delightfully naughty furniture designer, she is a very well known name in SL porn, thanks to her generous sponsorship and involvement with artists for promo work. Check out the stream of her company to believe that!

Ali Lancrae lets us have a peek through The Looking Glass, beautiful sim where I had also the pleasure of being her model in a photoshoot, and you have a lot more to read from different people with different experiences: a true radio media power couple, interviewed by Rosa, a successful male model shot and chatted by Spirit, and yet another clothing designer by the gorgeous Partee, who also did the photos for Ed's interview.

Ah that Partee! And dat ass, of course.

Pro*vocative has established itself as a complete magazine experience, bringing to the table solid talent from our 'pornstar' scene but branching out with its choice of interview subjects towards a much welcome attention and openness to more 'mainstream' subjects, who get to show quite a bit of their erotic, naughty, provocative side. Which is an attitude on the Pornstars blog we love, and also part of the reason why through the years a fair amount of attention shifted inevitably towards erotica and photography.

Congrats to everyone involved for a job well done, and remember to get the magazine (duh!) in world from the notice history or by asking Rosalee Rhiadra. Pro*vocative carries a lot of content that is of sure interest for fans and purveyors of erotic arts and all that is sexy and fun in SL. A diverse and intriguing set of talents featured, with a lineup of photographers and reporters straight from our Pornstars community.
Some examples?
Of the people interviewed, names like Rachel Swallows, Seddy, Vivi Joy need no introduction. Interviewed and shot, may I add, by other very popular and hot talents from the group, like Edvard and Rob, Partee, Ali.

Still, that's just a portion of the content: the staff of the magazine didn't just meet up with people from 'our' scene, but from all branches of the adult entertainment. Texas Rob McRae for instance, brings us a cool reportage from Kiki's House of Burlesque, Edvard interviews mr. Windmaster himself Windmaster Vernon (who hasn't done some bouncing on a Windmaster at some point in their SL?) and as always Rosa interviews an excellent photographer, this time the ingenious Spyder Silverfall. The solid contribution of the great Addison Summerwind completes the issue.

As you can see from the cover, Pro•vocative continues being a very well rounded magazine filled with content of sure interest to the fans of the sexy side of SL. Interviews, fashion, photography highlights, and of course, features of hot places to visit. In this issue, you can get more infos about Retroville and of course, the beautiful Dirty Rythms sim. A place Rosa calls 'one of her homes away from home', and you can find out why!

50 Shades of Kristan-Faulds!

Interviewed on this issue, as usual a mix of personalities from all walks of (second)life, from the porn couple of Serenity and Louise Kristan-Faulds by Spirit, to Edvard's chat with furniture creator Zhoie Zimermann to the glamour and sexy photography of Keely Mistwood and the lush views of Dirty Rythms, both explored by Rosa with her questions. And of course, there's Partee's fashion report, sitting down with another clothes designer and doing a great job showing their creations and the creative process behind their work.

Not to forget Jadelyn's photography and her Retroville interview with Hard Rust...And dat ass.

Worth of a special mention is of course another one of the editors of the magazine in Ali Lancrae, who displays her many talents - she is a multiple nominee for the Sexiest Awards this year, after all- not only shining as a model interviewed by the always camera-proficent Rob McRae, but also bringing her photography to the issue for the 'My Ride' feature, with models Ashley and Honey Bunny (Tawni Ewing) making their apperance atop of their hogs.

Once more with great timing, Rosalee Rhiadra's magazine helps us celebrate a festivity beloved from SL photographers. After Valentine's day, St. Patrick's. Before you go out and start getting hammered with suspiciously coloured beer, take your time to look at this issue

As usual, Pro*vocative offers a poutpourri of intriguing views from the artistic side of SL. As we like to show in the daily galleries on the blog, you will find a much broader horizon of talents featured here than ones belonging to the 'porn' scene, but it will be for you a very pleasant discovery, if you are not familiar with their work already. I am especially pleased to see featured great talents such as Lincoln and Sidney Garnet, the beautiful Alana Roses and Lilly, the curator of that beautiful project I already mentioned a couple of magazine posts ago: the Obsession Exposed gallery.

The lineup is tremendously rich, and I leave you the pleasure of finding out which of your favourite Sexiest Pornstar has contributed to this issue and how. (well, ok, I tagged most in the post , but there will be surprises!).

Pro•voc•a•tive's publisher Rosalee Rhiadra did a great job putting the issue together in a very timely fashion, releasing it just before Valentine's day, and does a great job of introducing yet another great issue, full of content and truly sexy artwork.

The magazine pulls out all the stops in bringing standout talent and very known names in the visual arts department. If you are involved in SL photography, you surely are familiar with the products from that sexy power couple on the cover Stefan and Sammie, and with the impressive work of another interviewee in Kes Myas. Both interviews are success stories, and very inspiring at that.

Of course the 'Pornstars' community proves to be a huge source of talents, in an issue permeated by eroticism. From the photographic work of Texas Rob McRae to Jadelyn McAuley's (hers the cover and the photos of the Stefan-Sammie interview), from a stupefying photoshoot by Spirit of a gorgeous Envy Watts, more marylinesque than ever before . And the contributions from Addison Summerwind, always of the highest level, and Domino Dupre and Edvard Taurion doing articles about their areas of expertise...

Not to mention Partee's  fashion report !

And so on, yes, yes! Well, I hope you'll take a look at Pro•voc•a•tive, because it surely makes for an interesting read and the photo are smexy. Besides, you need to take your mind off this whole Sexiest Awards thing and such. Ohhh my. Speaking of Awards... You have to remember also that the Avi Choice Awards are happening right now. The event involves nearly the whole spectrum of arts you can find on SL, but, just saying, in their vote page the magazine section is right at the top. So go vote for your favourite one! We at the Sexiest® Pornstars Blog enjoy to bring to your attention some of the finest, most arousing, lustful and quite simply provocative publications around. What a coincidence, I am here to point you to the newest issue of

Pro•voc•a•tive Magazine

If you are members of the Sexiest Pornstars group or if you have ever followed this blog before, you are certainly very familiar with the editors of this magazine, born from the joint effort of Rosa Rhiadra and Acey Heart, two of the most active and pro-active members of the adult arts community in SL. They are no strangers to the world of magazines, from both sides of the camera.



You have to get the magazine to see what Scooby does to the Thanksgiving Turkey

Pro•voc•a•tive is produced with a very stylish and polished look, fitting of its ambitions, which is to provide the reader with "art, lifestyle, entertainment and a touch of sensuality", to quote the foreword of their debut issue. You can see peeking at the lineup here, that they assembled just the right mix. Even more than a touch, of sensuality! You can spot on the mag other well known names of the industry, teaming up to provide interview and photos that no doubt will get your attention. Some names? Erin Celestalis and Edvard Taurion, Scooby Mode shot by Jadelyn McAuley and interviewed by Acey, while Rosa interviews the always classy Addison Summerwind. And there's more.

Worth a special mention as it was worth of the cover of the issue, is the presence of Cross Aura and Jaded Lorefield on the magazine: a truly multitalented and uber-hot couple, it's only fitting that it's the multitalented Spirit (check her stream for even more extra-hot shots from this set!) to interview them and provide the most spicy and finger-licking photoshoot of the issue. Thanksgiving is close, and Pro•voc•a•tive celebrates it beautifully this way.
